    I don’t normally like super action packed movies but I loved this. I loved how Courtland/Six’s story is shown through flashbacks that give brief context. I also like Claire as a character. I thought the attitude she had in the flash backs was quite funny but I thought they also portrayed her as just a child who WOULD be scared of what’s happening.

    Not even sure what to say. It started out better and then kinda just….sizzled out. The cast is great, but feels soooo unutilised? Largely because the plot, while with a great premise, does not hold focus very well and is almost infuriatingly frustrating. Bunch of spies living in glass towers and mercenaries that have never considered bulletproof glass?? This movie went all out on the action but forgot to consider the SCRIPT to back it up, I was always waiting…

    Chris Evans and Ryan Gosling were spectacular in this movie. I’m enjoying Chris Evans’ turn to the dark side after leaving Marvel. It’s a little too long, the middle drags a bit. But there is a strong start and a solid ending. A bit too realistic though, those in power never feel the consequences enough.

    so for a bit i was kinda bored. it definitely felt slow at first. but i ended up really enjoying it. i was not expecting chris evans at all and i just referred to him as “evil chris evans” in my head the entire time time. i love an ambiguous happy ending. this movie definitely solidified ryan gosling as the best actor ever in my opinion. like he truly becomes his roles so well that i somehow forget it’s him unlike my inability to not just see chris evans.

    Kind of in the same vein of something like Triple 9. It has great actors and good looking cinematography but doesn’t use the talent from the actors to their fullest extent and doesn’t have the narrative to push what at least conceptually is an emotionally invested foundation. Ryan Gosling, Chis Evans, and Ana de Armas really do their best though.

    How’s a movie with so much action so boring. I honestly enjoy the Netflix extraction movies so my standards aren’t exactly high brow and love Gosling but this movie has genuinely zero sauce, have never seen such an unsexy spy thriller despite starring Gosling and Ana de Armas. Makes Ambulance from Michael bay look like Heat in comparison, the drone shots in that were stupjd but they weren’t fuck ugly like this. Shoulda been directed and written by someone with vision and had 1/3rd the budget cause I would still like to see Ryan gosling play a badass spy

    A really good and worthwhile movie. You won’t get bored if you watch it. For me the best part was seeing Chris Evans as the villain. He is so unhinged and I love it. Then the best part was Ryan and Dhanush’s cameo. The music was good could’ve been better. The action was really really good. The screenplay is well set . The emotion is the only thing that’s missing. I would’ve loved some twists. Waiting for part 2 but…
