you’re really only going to have one woman in your movie and her only purpose is to be threatened with sexual assault so that the main male character can angst over that? and we never see her deal with what happened because she is not a person to this movie, she is a tool that can be used against mickey. we see HIM deal with her trauma but we never see her again because she doesn’t matter to this story and i am so fucking sick of seeing this happen in movies constantly. I honestly didn’t enjoy watching any of this it made me really angry.

Fun watch the costume and set design of british poshness makes for a pleasing look to the movie however i think that with the plot of the movie there was too much predictability which caused a little lack of interest. Also as a side note how tf did the toddlers know that matthew was going to be kidnapped at the end?

“MY WIFE!” I loved it, it was fantastic. Very strong values: loyalty, good manners. It’s one of the best gangster movies I’ve ever seen—fun, enjoyable, and funny. Fletcher and Ray have carried the entire weight of the film.

Cooler Film. Story hat mir gut gefallen. Auch die Perspektive mit dem Journalisten fand ich ganz cool. Zwischenzeitlich mal recht corny aber fand ich noch echt okay. Ende hat mir auch gefallen und echt coole Schauspieler dabei. Kann man auf jeden Fall nochmal schauen.

Started off a little slow, not a huge fan of narration type movies but it picked up near the end. Was fun but nothing special. I am a big fan of all the actors and loved their on screen chemistry, especially Charlie and Hugh.

Should have come with an emetophobia warning because my feelings about this film really soured after that. One female character in the whole film who’s purpose was to be sexually assaulted to anger the main character, amazing job once again male writers.

Some interesting sequences set to inspired musical choices can’t save this one. Really cringe. No idea what they were thinking either the unreliable narrator they went with. Really felt like a first draft that never got touched up. My bro put this on after being flooded with youtube shorts for it, and honestly i can’t think of a more perfect intro to it than that.
