There’s a scene where some of the characters are watching a remake of Angels With Filthy Souls (the fake movie from the original) and a character says “I don’t know why they’re trying to remake the classics. Never as good as the originals.” The lack of self-awareness is honestly funnier than the actual joke itself.

This movie unfortunately, came out in an era when Disney+ was first getting off the ground and they were trying to establish a brand based on reboot/sequel to a lot of live action material (this feels very similar to the Turner and hooch TV show. That was very short-lived) unfortunately this feels more like it wants to remind you about the first home alone rather than be a new story which really begs the question “this was made for a streaming service. You can hit three buttons and just watch the original home alone. Why watch this?”

Transformaron a los “ladrones” en una pareja común y corriente que lo único que quiere es recuperar un muñeco que es de ellos y que el chico se robó.
