The biggest achievement of Her is that it makes you feel sorry for a guy who has dated Rooney Mara, Olivia Wilde, Amy Adams, and Scarlett Johansson’s voice.

without getting too personal, this film just helped me a lot. when you’re happy this thing can really put you down. but when you’re down it takes a big warm blanket and wraps it around you.

What the fuck? It was interesting but all it showed me was that she was doing a great job at what she was programmed for…

a little late but found at that this was a response to lost in translation. learning more about the directors’ past relationship with each other made both films hit a lot deeper. they both won an oscar in the same category for these specific films too?? 😓 smth about watching the parallels between these films speak to each other feels more meaningful now.

I just want to walk around with you… and look at things together, I’m just gonna be in this photograph, and I’m gonna be there with you. Forever, I don’t know what I want. I’m always confused, It’s like I’m reading a book… and it’s a book I deeply love. But I’m reading it slowly now. So the words are really far apart and the spaces between the words are almost infinite, … I was thinking about you today, and I was remembering how we used to look at each other and smile… for no reason, 🎡🛋️📚

I cried many times…What to sayyyyy ? I loved the concept but it was so sad. It was a bit ahead of its time, probably could happen nowadays. It was really great and deep. Also what the hell was that at the beginning ??!! No wonder the guy went to talk to an AI.
