a little late but found at that this was a response to lost in translation. learning more about the directors’ past relationship with each other made both films hit a lot deeper. they both won an oscar in the same category for these specific films too?? 😓 smth about watching the parallels between these films speak to each other feels more meaningful now.

I cried many times…What to sayyyyy ? I loved the concept but it was so sad. It was a bit ahead of its time, probably could happen nowadays. It was really great and deep. Also what the hell was that at the beginning ??!! No wonder the guy went to talk to an AI.
