    Sicuramente non è un film horror, quasi più comico: trama e personaggi banali e prevedibili, squali che parono pupazzi, il pesce che grida guardando la fotocamera… ho visto troppo

    The first one had more suspense building while this one had much more action to the point some of the action got a bit tiresome. The girl drowning though was brutal to. The shark design was so goofy lmaooo.

    I have rewatched this an unhealthy amount of times. Just something about it. Much better than the first one. Well edited and a great 80s soundtrack as well. Dodgy looking shark but its a bit like The Descent where the cramped areas and more scary than the predators.

    Wow, I wanted something light as background noise but damn this is one of the most unnecessarily dramatic, dumbest shark movies I’ve seen. But the diving scenes looked nice

    Script is pretty drab but Roberts’ mastery of space and visual idiosyncrasies are on full, glorious display here. All of his work that I’ve seen seems to depict the threat, whether it’s sharks or a monkey or The Strangers, as a cruel extension of an indifferent world. That’s kind of a rockingly nihilistic worldview for such a fun and schlocky director. I have my problems with his movies but I fuck with that heavy. Also, very importantly: this is a movie about blind sharks in an ancient Mayan pyramid. Of course it’s at least a little bit sick.
