   It would have been nice to watch You’re Cordially Invited in a movie theater. It’s funny. A couple of the laughs are really big; the kind where, in a theater, people would scream and yell so much that you wouldn’t be able to hear the next couple lines. You don’t hear that sound much anymore. Beggars can’t be choosers, I suppose. I guess I should just be happy the movie exists at all. Full review at ScreenCrush.

   i actually thoroughly enjoyed the first half but after a bit of the tom and jerry game of it i got bored but i think its def a fun movie to watch with the family or like i would put it on while i play games on my ipad

    there is literally ZERO reason for this be two hours long holy shit. will ferrells daughter is insufferable and so are her band of minions. why does her boyfriend wear those bigass headphones at any given opportunity. a few funny moments scattered within a vast sea of mediocrity. at least i can confirm i’m still in love with reese witherspoon.

    pretty good movie. some characters are kind of cringe but it made me laugh a lot. the colour was odd though. obviously not black and white but not how movies used to be made.

    unfortunately i think this suffers from the same treatment the 1995 Sabrina had, where they cast a well known actor to play the male lead, who is good and whatever but looks about 20 years older than the female protagonist. the love plot between margot and the dad just felt kind of rushed at the end but also hard to believe they had any real chemistry. Also why was will ferrell in the skid mark stained suit for the last 30 minutes of the movie hard watch but I love Reese as always and I liked her storyline the most in this movie.

    A simple, low stakes comedy that is a great way to spend an evening. This feels like something that be playing on TBS when your home sick. Runs a little long and not every joke lands, but at the end of the film you feel better than you did going in

    All I wanted was an airplane movie because I did not want to watch Crazy Rich Asians again, but all I got was an ick. The disrespect towards the service worker who lost his mother which so happen caused them to double-book the same wedding weekend is just so unjustifiable.

    had to google the age gap between will ferrell and reese witherspoon after i watched this because it made me genuinely uncomfortable when they kissed (i know that they’re both well into adulthood, but oh my god it’s gross and weird)
