Your Lie in April is a show I watch every year in April. It’s one of my favorite shows of all time and it’s weird that it’s here on letterboxd but I’m glad that it is. It’s a show that to me is perfect in every aspect and not many shows have impacted me the way that this show does. The animation is one of the best that I’ve ever seen. The colors are bright and vibrant, and the character designs are beautifully drawn. wouldn’t really be into anime but this absolutely floored me, what a beautiful piece of media and art. it has changed my perspective on playing music and on emotions as a whole. one of those shows that has altered my brain chemistry, indefinitely i’m sure. i’m at a loss for words, like a person in space looking back at earth, realising that some things in the world don’t matter. what really matters is how you feel, and how you made others feel throughout your life.
