“You are a human affront to all women and I am a woman.” Just a classic rom-com and a true pillar in the genre. I will say, I wasn’t blown away by this film like it seems others are. The chemistry between our two leads is undeniable, as that carried the film for me. It’s also worthy of note that Billy Crystal is absolutely “fitted” in every scene. I tried again, folks. I really tried. This is just ok. Billy Crystal makes me feel nothing. Meg Ryan makes me feel everything. There’s no way she ends up with him and I don’t want her to. These mid men in the 80s needed to stop being rewarded with getting the girl in the end because mid men for generations have believed they have a birthright to their dream girl because Harry ends up with Sally.

Watched this movie at 4pm on a Sunday I feel like that’s the only time you can watch it. I always cry at the end. Also I love Sally’s whole vibe. It goes to show that men and women can’t just be friends after all. Watch this movie if you’re playing the long game or you’re a hopeless romantic or if you’re in a happy relationship. Just watch it

Bruh Meg Ryan is so beautiful in this and Billy is just there. First scene was irratiting by this got me back straight away with the second scene and we were off and running. New York and the seasons in this movie are a 5th character and add so much. Clothes are so sick. The chemistry but also the writing of this conversations is so good. Very funny too.

Plane movie! Turns out I like romcoms that don’t center on cheating, have actual growth in the characters, actually shows them falling in love, and has great chemistry between the two leads! Also, no cheating! Yay! It also helps that we had the cutest girl in front of us who we were just vibing/playing with throughout the movie.

Characters are at a peak. Scenarios at a peak. The writing and romance at a peak. The filmmaking? Its pretty good with spetacular moments and scenes I can still imagine perfectly a week out from watching. Those moments are too few though. All in all this is an incredibly comforting film with so much charm from everyone involved. Been missing out.
