Bon film, je dirai un peu moins bon que hangover et superbad. Il y’avait tjs le côté absurde que je recherchais, notamment dans la relation entre Jérémy et Gloria, tjs plus de dingueries plus le film avançais. Aussi très bon casting, bcp d’acteurs connus. Le personnage de Chazz vrm banger à la fin, la scène chez lui avec sa maman et celle aux funérailles. Bonne fin malgré le fait qu’elle était simple.

Yo. I would love to teach a class on the history of American comedy films. This movie takes itself pretty serious but uses its lead’s flawless execution of natural comedy to land every scene. Outside of the ridiculousness, it feels like a regular movie which I think is why it works so well especially when the plot is so basic but the jokes are so dynamic. The type of movie that starts funny but has humor that progressively gets more tired as it goes on. This does NOT need to be 2 hours long 😭. Watched this with my dad because my Funny Games pitch wasn’t going well. 5/10

rewatching this after a few years. still funny, i definitely had some good laughs. i think this is a great cast also. i personally gravitate towards vince vaughn’s character more and his love interest gloria. i think he’s funnier and their connection seems more genuine. i think the owen wilson/rachel mcadams duo falls flat for me, especially watching it as an adult. while he’s, claire’s boyfriend played by bradley cooper sucks. total a-hole. i hate the emotional cheating because the boyfriend is a jerk trope. anyways- good laughs, would watch again in another few years or if i needed some semi funny background noise.
