   WAR 2: A BIG LETDOWN This film ruined the essence of the original War. That film was fun, action packed, filmy, and a quintessential Bollywood entertainer that raised the stakes for action films. On the other hand, War 2 is built on a story that should never have made it past the draft stage. The writing lacks punch, the thrill is missing, and even Hrithik Roshan’s screen presence cannot save it. Legacy ruined.

   This movie looks and feels like unemployment but ironically they’re all employed to do this, make what sense of that as you will. Barely into the movie, you’ll get two warnings to stop one being Hrithik entry and the other being tarak entry, not only their career worst entries but also being among the worst entries I’ve seen in a long time. What is even the point of making such movies if you can’t even shoot or design a proper entry? It’s awful from the word go and the scores are so pathetic which makes it hard to keep watching while the green screen keeps on greening. Why are all the big budget indian movies ganging up against Japanese culture?…

   trash, brainless and wasted. War with every frame drowning in bizarre VFX. From fake locations to toy like vehicles, even stunt doubles faces for Hrithik Roshan and Kiara Advani were clearly visible. The story if we can call it that felt like it was written by a 3 year old, with a laughable flashback track and zero high stakes. Ayan Mukerji, sadly fell into the trap of over the top spectacle without substance making this a massive letdown. Hrithik looked dapper and delivered a good performance, while Jr NTR made a solid Bollywood debut and looked his best on screen.     Globe trotting spy thriller ❌ Greenmat trotting spy thriller ✅ The war is definitely ON, but this time its waged against the audience though. Except for Spain and Gulf water portions, most others looked glaringly patchy, with its VFX only exposing it further. Hrithik, Jr.NTR and some action set pieces make it watchable to an extent, however the too bland a predictable narrative takes a tedious toll and makes it too tiring.

    Des bagnoles qui sautent sur un train, un bateau qui fonce sur un circuit de F1, des brushing impeccables, des muscles huilés, des oeillades homo erotiques, des combats de 10 minutes qui defient les lois de la physique, des emplacements langoureux, des twists tellement nombreux qu’ils donnent le tournis… C’est ça qu’on veut bordel !!!     They gave Hrithik a real romantic interest this time, but somehow they still managed to make it even more homoerotic than the first one. Anyways, I haven’t laughed this much watching a movie in a while. It’s definitely too long, but as much as I don’t like action films, Indian ones are an exception, ’cause this shit is never boring.     The film clearly missed the essence of the first part, and the fights felt over the top even though they were shot in richer locations. At one point the Kaali syndicate even looked unintentionally funny. I didn’t like Jr. NTR’s character at all — he could have been used much better, and his introduction scene, flying in on a UAV, felt completely over the top. Overall nothing really worked in the movie except for Kiara 🥰.”
