   honestly nothin scarier than ppl knockin on doors n bangin on the doors. knocking n bangin on windows, pots n pans, whatever’s accessible. u bang on it, im scared on it. this movie had some bangs for sure but it lacked the punch. some bang, no punch. it banged my heart but it didnt bang my brain. heart was beating, brain was fleeting

    “…Because you were home.” The scene where Liv Tyler was smoking in the living room and you see “guy in mask” appear behind her (without her noticing) still feels so incredibly violating and effective. I don’t care how many times I watch this, it still makes me uncomfortable from start to finish.

    Entertaining to say the least. But most of the movie I just felt like I was watching people run away from other people trying to kill them. There was no crazy plot twist or anything like that

    had me stressing sometimes, especially with some of the decisions the leads made. sure they’re in a stressful situation and i’d be messing up too but cmon bro just lock in😭 the strangers are fairly creepy and i thought it was pretty interesting they didn’t kill the leads until daytime, to me kind of showing that bad things can happen at any time, you’re not just safe bc the sun’s up. time to watch prey at night and a top 3 trilogy of all time, the strangers chapters movies🫩

    NOTHING BUT THE EDGE Ultimate edge lord horror Tell don’t show Zero substance just all anticipatory suspense. At one point they just started playing spooky noise mix No. 5 while she was hiding with the radio. I’m sorry she didn’t stand up for like 20 to 30 minutes after she fell just non stop crawling around There were some real F performances in this group project. No one has a sense of urgency.

    I’ll stand by this statement until my bitter-ass end that The Strangers should’ve been a standalone movie… it was literally the perfect-ass home invasion movie & shouldn’t have had any sequels. There isn’t even much to say about the movie; the plot is simple but good, along with the pacing, & the acting is solid asf. The most I can say about the movie is, imagine your proposal just got rejected, & now these three random-ass freaks are not only trying to murder you,…

    Making bad decisions the movie. Often pointless but hey, that’s the point amiright??! I’ll say for what it is on a small scale it’s somewhat impressive. I see why it’s stuck around in a cult movie sense but really it’s just a horror film with cheap tricks. Glenn Howerton appearance was p good and that particular “twist” is actually the most damning moment of the movie.
