Martin Short as Jack Frost gives a career best performance, on par with Heath Ledger’s Joker. A real villain for the ages.

As I stare into the void, an ominous and deathly figure looms towards me and stares back with eyes black and soulless. The Devils’s eyes. As the darkness lifts I notice more of Tim Allen’s features staring at me out of his fat suit. “Is this Hell?” I gasp. “No,” he replies, mocking me, “this is The Santa Clause 3: The Escape Clause.”

“They’re not little Canadians! They’re elves!” — an actual line of dialogue spoken by Alan Arkin in The Santa Clause 3: The Escape Clause.

Not good
-
D
The Santa Clause 3: The Escape Clause is a very good Christmas film to go and see at Christmas time
-
P
Huh? Is this a joke? I’m pretty sure this movie is just a joke. It’s actually the final one in the trilogy? The story is not good. The characters aren’t as good this time around. The acting is fine. What is it with Christmas franchisees trying to make more than two movies? Overall, the movie is disappointing as it is notably flawed and frustrating. The meaningful themes in this movie feel lackluster, which is shameful.

“I invented chill!” – Does anyone else think this is the best Santa Clause movie or is it just me? Watching this feels like a warm hug or a cup of hot cocoa on a cold day – I love it. Martin Short brings the much-needed chaotic energy which helps to break the ice (pun intended) and balance Tim Allen’s sentimental Santa. I also love the call-backs to previous films and seeing returning characters. This is a great Christmas movie.
-
J
martin short is so iconic

the worst in the trilogy in my opinion.

that would never happen on bernard’s watch

While this film isn’t as strong as the two previous ones, it’s still a great time and a heartwarming story (pun intended). Martin Short brings the right energy as Jack Frost and delivers a very cold (pun intended) villainous performance.

The worst one of the trilogies I barely ever watch it I think I’ve only seen it like 2 or 3 times at most and I hated my life choices.

“The Santa Clause 3” puts Santa in a predicament. He’s dealing with a lot of stress with his family, and on top of that, Jack Frost is up to no good. He wants to steal his beloved holiday and dethrone him. Unfortunately, *The Santa Clause 3* isn’t much better than its predecessor, and it seems as though the production team has forgotten that as well, since many of the rules established in the previous films simply don’t apply here anymore.…

Movie night category: 12 Days of Christmas (10/12) This version of Jack Frost has been in actual nightmares of mine. Scary movie to watch

K
Oh my goodness. This is probably literally my favorite Santa Clause movie that was made. The in-laws come to the North Pole and they think it’s Canada because that’s what they told them. But of course then Jack Frost has to come into the picture and ruin everything for them. When Santa and Lucy go into the room with all the snow globes is great. I love that part because I actually have a whole collection of snow globes myself,…
-
C
Very frustrating. One thing is the antagonist developing his plan throughout the movie and the other is just making the movie stressful to watch when it’s a Christmas movie… And to be defeated right away…
-
A
genuinely iconic
-
K
Now whenever I hear “New York, New York” I sing the North Pole version.
-
J
Honestly a pretty decent movie, I never really understood the hate. It’s not as good as the first but I personally think it’s just fun enough that I enjoy it. 3 stars

this might be the only portrayal of jack frost ive seen as a bad guy, ive either seen him as some kid saving a holiday or some small kinda cute creature. not sure what i think of this one i guess its good bcz i dislike him but im more annoyed dislike than evil guy dislike.
-
T
Sem dúvida alguma, este é o filme mais fraco de toda a trilogia. A fórmula mágica dos dois primeiros esgotou-se completamente aqui, entregando uma comédia de Natal forçada e sem o brilho de outrora. O argumento é preguiçoso e a introdução do Jack Frost torna o ambiente demasiado bizarro e exagerado.
-
L
I forgot to review this but I honestly thought about Jack Frost a lot when I was younger despite never seeing this

absolutely insane. i think about this franchise and usually this movie on a bi weekly basis. martin short is unstoppable in this – and to be fair everybody else contribute insanely good performances, alan arkin is another huge standout. why the FUCK are people so mean about this movie. Martin Short as Jack Frost is iconic, he’s so over the top, but it actually works for the character. I ended up enjoying this more than I expected. It’s not a perfect film, but it was fun and an easy watch. I like it more than the second one, though it’s still not as good as the first. Overall, just a solid, entertaining holiday movie.
-
D
90 minutes of Martin Short hamming it up as Jack Frost is something everyone should see once at least

Probably my least fav out of the trilogy but still a must watch 🎅🤶😊

”My in-laws hate me, Christmas is a disaster,” grouses Saint Nick, ”and my pregnant wife wishes she’d never met me.” Is this a sequel to The Santa Clause or Bad Santa? We’ve caught Tim Allen’s Father Christmas in a low moment for his franchise in The Santa Clause 3: Jack Frost (Martin Short, playing to the kids, not their keepers) is plotting to steal Santa’s duties for himself, while (never mind the dysfunctional-family crises) this Styrofoam snowman of a sequel overdoses on its own candy-cane-colored sugary cheer.
