   this movie right? except it’s actually only idris elba and a dog trying to survive a plane crash and he begins to imagine kate winslet because he feels so alone and desperate and she’s the last person he saw at the airport and instead of this being a long, boring romance it’s now an interesting exploration of the human mind and endurance and instead of it being almost 2hrs we cut it down to 90 mins thank you, hollywood i’ll be waiting for my paycheck in the mail

    I think you’re wrong Alex, I think we survived because we fell in love Some of these shots are so beautiful combined with the score I just really love it 🙁 + the ending will make me uncontrollably sob. It can feel slow and boring at times but I think there’s so much more positive to be said about this film rather than negative.

    Eu simplesmente não vi o tempo passar. Fiquei intrigado o filme inteiro. Kate e Idris trabalharam uma química muito forte nesse filme. Acho que o maior defeito dele é tentar equilibrar sobrevivência com desastre e romance tudo ao mesmo tempo, onde acaba ficando uma hora um filme disso e outra hora o filme é sobre outra coisa. Fora isso me diverti e me emocionei muito!!!

    This started auto-playing after 127 hours and I couldn’t look away… kept thinking how they got these two leads with this schlock script. The last shot jumpcut straight to the zayn credit song had me rolling.

    Ganz nett. Immer wieder überraschend, was Menschen im Film überleben. Und das auch noch ohne richtige Ausrüstung oder Kleidung für eine Bergtour. Und verletzt ist auch immer jemand 😀 Und warum öffnet sie die Kleidung am Hals, als Hilfe naht? 🤷🏼‍♀️ Wie dem auch sei, die Hunde sind doch am Ende immer die wahren Helden 🐶

    It wasn’t bad. I didn’t think that the shagging scene was strictly necessary, but they did need a reason for her to split with her fiancé and for him to swoop in from London. Kate’s character used a Leica M camera. There must have been two as the first must have been an M9 with a long lens. They tried to use it to zoom in on distant mountains. You can’t do that with a rangefinder. Then she took photos of him with an MP that must have been film as she developed it in a dark room later.
