This may be the definition of a comic book movie, the style is PERFECT. The characters chemistry is incredible, the only things that suck are the story and the villain. So many shots are sucked straight off the page though, it’s actually incredible. However the short runtime saves the crappy story, because at least it doesn’t take forever to lead to not much. I thought this was a pretty fun ensemble. Mad this came out just before Captain America: The First Avenger. Always love seeing Jeffery Dean Morgan show up in things and quite pleasantly surprised to find out that he’s essentially the main character. The whole cast is good. I liked that the film had a few twists and despite a somewhat low average letterboxd review I thought it was well worth the watch and an enjoyable time.

The action is entertaining, the humor works in places, and the movie doesn’t take itself too seriously. The story is fairly simple and some of the characters could have been explored more, but the strong ensemble and energetic action make it an enjoyable watch.
