ok but the real reason frodo fucks off to valinor is because sam married rosie instead of him and that’s the tea

The moment where Frodo is hanging off of a cliff holding on with one hand and looks up at Sam and Sam reaches out for him to take his hand and Frodo doesn’t want to at first but Sam urges him to so he tries but he can’t get a grip because of how bloodied his hands are so he looks down at the fire below and looks back up at Sam with such a tired sadness that it pierces my soul and Sam can see from that expression that Frodo wants to just let go so badly that he wants the journey to just end now but he will not allow his friend to go like that in this…

imagine a nimble-footed platinum blonde elf with fishtail braids pops up and shoots you in the chest and the last thing you hear before you die is him whispering the number you are on his kill count so he can compare kills with his dwarf boyfriend at the end of the battle.

extra stars for cinematography and effects great for their time but besides that, i expected SO MUCH MORE after watching the first two. first film was amazing, the second film felt like a build up to the third one aaaand in the third part i got 4,5 hours of 15 fights that looked almost the same, almost no plot compared to the previous ones and an ending so disappointing and with such amount of plot armor that i wanted it…

Maraton kinowy trylogii to jedno z najlepszych doświadczeń filmowych jakiego mogłem doznać.

huge fan of rohans army getting wiped off every battle and then being revived and multiplied for the next one 10 mins later. there was like one milion people on horses getting stomped on by the oliphaunts in gondor. mind you rohan looks like a village that needs to go two towns over to send post

Die now.” “I am no man!” 🗡️🗡️🗡️🗡️ My journey with this series has unfortunately come to an end 😭💔 I watched the extended version and I loved every single minute of it!! The fighting scenes were amazing!! The acting was incredible!! The costumes, the characters and the world itself just wow how could someone have the imagination to create such a world!!…

I will threat this review as a review for all parts cuz i saw them togheter and i threat them as a whole. Before i get into details, i just wanna say that there never was and there never will be any cinematic universe wich is closer to my heart than Tolkiens. The emotional impact, lore, music, actors and nostalgia makes those movies my unmatched favs. I watched all 3 Lord of the Rings movies one after another in a…

these movies are complete nonsense lol i get that a lot of people have sentimental attachment to them but these are not good movies. they are a series of big battle scenes largely indistinguishable from each other where there are no real stakes because the heroes win against impossible odds every time. no character has real depth or intrigue except gollum (and this movie kind of ruins that by giving a rushed, unsatisfying explanation for what happened to him at…

Now that’s more like it! An intensely riveting film throughout. Particularly the huge battle sequence of Act 2 and the whole run up Mount Doom in Act 3 make this a must-watch experience before you die. The battle sequence is unique to similar battles you may have seen in other movies due to the multiple layers that emerge as the battle continues, as well as the multiple sub-plots with individual characters that we regularly switch back and forth to, effectively…

This is my second time re-watching Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King. I watched it on the plane to keep me awake and thank god it did. “ i cant carry it for you, but i can carry you.” – oh sam the man you are I love the scene when Éowyn kills the Witch- King of Angmar. The battle of Minas Tirith is one of the most entertaining battles i’ve watched. Arwen looked so gorgeous when she reunited with Aragorn I’m so fucking obsessed with legolas
