    This review may contain spoilers. الصراحه الفيلم حلو ثلاث ساعات ماحسيت فيها لكن احس الاول كان افضل منه حرفيا من ناحية الشخصيات الاول كنت احس اني مندمج مع العائلة حرفيا حبيت كل واحد فالعائلة سوني مايكل فيتو وحرفيا الفيلم شدني من بعد محاولة اغتيال فيتو اما في ذا قود فاذر 2 ماحسيت بهذا الشي حسيت الرتم كان بطيء ماكان في لحظات تشدني اني اكمل الفيلم او اتحمس لكل لحضة بالفيلم مدري الصراحه احس اني ظلمت الفيلم لكن هذا رائيي وان شاء الله اذا قدرت بعيد مشاهدة الفيلم 8-10

    I finally watched it! I don’t know. I’ll probably have to revisit this one, I enjoyed it but to be honest was a bit underwhelmed. Mostly struggled with the rise of Don Vito feeling rushed. Maybe next time I will be more properly whelmed.

    I liked it but not as much as the first. The plot was dense and difficult to follow. The absolute shadows of the lighting choices I actually found frustrating because I couldn’t see much. Certainly a darker film both metaphorically and literally than the first.

    The first film is better. But it took me two movies and some thinking afterwards to really put the picture together. Who would’ve thought that when I first watched The Godfather at 15 years old I understood fuck all of it. Watching Vito’s origin story I came to understand that when he talked about family he was being sincere. He was a cold-blooded killer, yes. But for him, growing up alone, protecting his new family was legitimately the first priority.…

    Con esta si que conecté. Que maravilla. Abraza todo lo bueno de la primera parte y lo hace aún mejor. Me parece un acierto descomunal que optasen por contar el pasado de Vito y está muy bien llevado (en parte gracias a un increíble Robert de Niro, capaz de llegar a la majestuosidad de Marlon Brando en la primera película), la transformación de Michael en uno de los grandes jefes de la mafia es perfecta. El acto final con la escena de la barca en el lago te deja pensando, sin palabras.
