   The third installment just disappoints. All that worked previously go missing; the bloody action sequences get diluted, lack of nostalgic references and less humor. Neither do the new addition of young cast add any value. Harrison Ford replaces Bruce Willis and Mel Gibson plays the deadly antagonist to their best. The first 25 mins was old school and kickass. Later the screenplay turns dull and ends up an underwhelming watch.

   Th3 3xp3ndabl3s should’ve been the title. Missed opportunity.☹️ This was pretty boring. Antonio Banderas & Frasier Crane were fun new additions⭐️ but everything else felt tired🥱. The lowered age rating certainly didn’t help👎🏻. Mel Gibson gets more screen-time than Jason Statham and that makes me wanna hurl🤢. Fuck off, Mel😡. Jason Statham- ranked

   It was ok, but I didn’t quite enjoy it as much as the last 2. I mean, there’s only so many things you can do in movies like this. Doesn’t matter who’s in the cast. And the cast IS huge. I can really appreciate all the people they cram into these movies. I mean it is literally an action smorgasbord. I wasn’t a huge fan of the new blood being introduced, but I did like the direction they went with it. I thought Antonio Banderas was my favorite person in it.    Oh boy. The blueprint was already there… why mess with that? One could argue that the franchise needed some shaking up, that it was time for a change to avoid monotony caused by repeating the same old formula over and over again. But… that’s what The Expendables is all about. It needs no tinkering. That’s why I’m going to watch it, to see a bunch of old, dated action stars coming back and getting together to kick ass in full-on old-school style having a laugh and a blast while at it, and bringing the audience along for the ride.    Starring: The Bold, Bald, Gruff Action Man Jason Statham Definitely the weakest of the three films so far, especially given how great and improved the last one was, this one feels like a step back.     The PG-13 rating should be a good indication to skip this film. The poor acting, bad dialogue, and the fact that it’s incredibly cheesy just adds to the reasons why you shouldn’t rush out to see this. I’ve got to give this film some credit and that’s for the last 30 minutes. It’s full of mindless and cool action sequences that entertained me. But up until that last 30 minutes, it’s a pretty poor film.
