   Sometimes it’s just nice to see one of these that has so little on its mind beyond what serves its pure, gnarly craftsmanship. Like there’s basically no reason or explanation for this to make the turn from survival movie to monster movie, it was honestly scary enough as is, but goddamn does it make that turn anyway and do so insanely effectively. So many wet and filthy-looking lowlight setups home to a pretty much nonstop sea of tearing, puncturing, gushing, and screaming. That’s the good stuff.

    Muito divertido, a maior parte do filme é simplesmente elas passando pela caverna e mesmo assim é mt bom. A claustrofobia e a sensação de estar perdido é muito bem transmitida. Depois da virada na história eu sinto que o filme se perde um pouco, a direção fica totalmente alucinada nas cenas de ação, são 100 cortes por segundo e eu mal consigo me localizar. Não bastando isso, o filme tem uns momentos muito bregas, o drama parece uma novela. Mesmo com esses defeitos, é uma experiência de horror mt boa.

    The way I see it Sarah is the villain not Juno, and that is what I liked about the movie, that our primal instincts still find their way when in distress, and then we descent.     will always love this more than most; was the first movie to have ever scared me and consistently disturb me. sm to love, but as i rewatch there is increasingly more indifference! jack did NOT like this nearly as much as my friends and i did first watch; my only explanation for this must be that because it’s an all-female cast.

    Maaan I had such high expectations but this movie didn’t really do it for me I don’t think I understand the hype What I enjoyed most is definitely character writing and their dynamics, not always horrors succeed in making you care for their characters The premise is also super cool: caving in the Appalachian mountains? Surely is gonna be scary as hell… I don’t know the monsters didn’t really do it for me, their design and the “fight” scenes felt…

    I will never go cave diving for this exact reason. The claustrophobic nightmare of having to crawl through tight tunnels and the possibility of getting stuck in complete darkness is a “hell no” from me.

    This is a very competent movie. I cant really fault it in that department. The twists are set up ahead of time, the characters dumb decisions are kinda justified, theres an emotional throughline throughout the movie. Its very solid. However, Its crazy how much less scary this movie is in the second half. Once they reveal the monsters, its over. It was tense, there was suspense during the caving sequence and I was into the mystery of the bloody claw marks and the old caving equipment. But then when there were critters it made everything way less interesting. The first half is very very good though.

    pfff visualmente brillante. aveces la mejor terapia es ir a cagarse a palos con criaturas desconocidas en una cueva oscura Desde la primer complicación que se presenta el ambiente obtiene una esencia desoladora y cada vez se pone peor. acompañando al ambiente tiene HERMOSAS tomas, posiciones de cámara y juega con las luces y la oscuridad de una forma sublime. Me gustó como los personajes no se dedicaron a simplemente morir sino que intentaron defenderse, lo que dió escenas de acción (no muy bien editadas la verdad) para equiparar con el terror.

    GOATed horror movie film. Honestly are the characters that deep, no, BUUUT, super unique movie. I like the cinematography, scenery, plot, and everything was great. Really good. I haven’t seen tomb raider but I feel like this movie would be similar but better. I like the creatures and the backstory behind them. The bite of 87’ Score: 9.0/10

    Recomendação da minha esposa, muito bom a estrutura inicial do filme.. efeito borboleta e os caraio mas tipo, um final da qual eu queria que fosse um pouquinho melhor… Mas não é um filme ruim, só deixou com um gostinho de poderia ser um pouquinho melhor.
