A woman will endure atrocities and at most become self destructive. Be mean to a dude once in the 5th grade and he’ll turn into this guy

Sometimes size doesn’t matter. The plot picks up right where we left, Arkin in a trunk but is rescued after a nightclub massacre and is teamed up with a bunch of mercenaries to rescue a girl. Things start off with a banger of an opening scene and continue things with a decent enough pace filled with violence, gore and all the usual stuff but not as effective as they were in the first flick. And there are a lot of things that work as a turndown when compared to the predecessor. To start things off let’s talk about the den of the killer it was ok at best reason being the previous movie worked especially because it was set up…

65 Feels like the 4th act of The Collector in the best way. All killer no filler, pretty much constant climax. Replaces grungy 16mm textures with glossy Lionsgate sheen. The Collection is to the color blue what The Collector is to the color green. Starts with a Final Destination-esque bloodbath and only gets crazier from there. Where’s The Coll3cted? We need to see what our boy is up to!

The opening warehouse rave Massacre is total blood soaked insanity and might be my favorite thing featured in both of these movies. I find it interesting that these were almost Saw films (or at one point conceived as Saw films) and wonder how that would have turned out of it all went down differently. Anyways, I dig these and definitely want a sequel. Also, lol @ ‘Hotel Argento’

I’M THE KING OF MESSED UPNESS!! (I’m somewhat insecure about the size of my plot. It’s tiny) BUT LOOK AT ALL THE BLOOD AND GORE!! HAHAHAHAHAHA!! I AM SOOOOO SICK MAN!!!! We get it, dude. Really.

So hi hello, in spite of popular opinion I’m here to tell you that I love this sequel so much more than the original film. It’s a total case of “bigger and better” actually working and I wish I could tell you why so many other people don’t feel the same way but I just can’t. I’m certainly not saying that they are wrong or that their opinions are not to,be taken seriously, but what I am saying is that I’m right so make of that what you will. The set pieces in this one are super fun and the whole aesthetic is just that super slick popcorn movie that looks and tastes amazing even if ultimately there’s not that much…

The Collection Guys I think we need James for this one.. has anyone checked if this film has a dead meat kill count cuz jeeeez. Brutal opening and this film wasted no time and dove into action. It’s great to watch immediately after the first one as this film only had a runtime of 1.15hrs. This time the film takes it to another level with more kills (and I mean a shit tone more), more brutal ones as well, a…

Decent, but not as good as the first one. Bigger isn’t always better.

The Collector was better, but this was still very much enjoyable. It’s just gore, gore, gore, slashing, gore. And a hot Josh Stewart. So what’s there to complain about. I’ve decided that these are the horror films I actually like to watch.

Still curious about the guys motivations because these traps are so well planned

This felt very much like the “ALIENS” of the two movies.

After escaping the Collector a second time, Arkin is forced to return to his lair to rescue some rich guy’s daughter. Right off the bat, this is not quite as good as the first one. There’s still a lot to like here, but the premise of the first movie is largely abandoned. They tried to do what they did in Aliens, send in a cocky special forces team to deal with a threat they thought they were prepared for. That…

It’s so rare for a sequel to be better than its predecessor but damn, The Collection did thaaaat! I used to watch this over and over when I was younger. I still got the same thrill, and joy after rewatching it now! I am glad that we are finally getting a 3rd movie soon! 🙌🏻

What a disappointment of a sequel. This feels like a shortfilm made by a bunch of teen amateur filmmakers when compared to the first film. Artificial plotline, with unenthusiastic kills and traps and to top it off – bad acting and cheesy dialogues.

Although I still really enjoy the antagonist of the series this movie falls a bit short. It lacks the charm of the first and overall the characters besides Arkin feel pretty weak. Still a fun watch though.
