A great Batman detective story with a strong whodunit vibe. Dark, rainy atmosphere. Weirdly cozy.

We need to stop pretending that Batman isn’t at least a little silly. If a man dressed like that came up to me and I asked him who he was and he said “I am vengeance” I’d probably laugh at that. It’s a silly thing to say.

I just love how fucking disgusting Bruce looks in this. Nasty ass stringy ass translucently pale goth boy in his dank disgusting batcave hunched over his computer with bloodshot eyes and black eye paint scrolling through footage of the previous night and journaling his fucked up thoughts. When he finally emerges from the cave to talk to Alfred and gets disturbed by the natural sunlight and has to put on sunglasses I wanted to get up and cheer. Yeah that’s right put on those sunglasses you little freak. Also he’s definitely a virgin based on how he composes himself around Catwoman. Fucking fantastic movie

There’s a lot of talk about how this is the sexiest Batman or the most emo Batman. What’s more important is that this is finally a Batman who sits down and looks for clues in a big stack of dusty old files

There is a moment where Bruce Wayne puts on sunglasses before eating blueberries in his ornate gothic penthouse and I thought to myself, “This is exactly how it should be.”

Never in my life I would’ve thought Batman fighting against a redditor and it’s community would be one of the best superhero movies.

“I mean…I’m not afraid to die. I realize now there’s something I haven’t got past. This fear…of ever going through any of that again. Of losing somebody I care about” I’ve seen this movie so so many times but currently going through a rough time and this line really resonated with me.

The combination of Giacchino’s score, the cinematography, well.. pretty much every aspect of this. It all comes together to create what is my personal favourite version of a Batman story we’ve seen. Something about the rain-soaked Gotham that is depicted here reminds me fondly of the Arkham game series.

I love how Batman’s leitmotif is just a bombastic alteration of a funeral march. I didn’t think a Batman theme could get more iconic than Elfman’s from the Burton films, but here we are Michael Giacchino is the best film composer working right now and we don’t appreciate him nearly enough

Great film. W fighting. W music. W vibez. Catwoman was pretty cool and all the connections with her and bruce. Riddler is a creep, what a weirdo. Scene was very good with batman and the riddler talkin in the jail. They know who batman is now👀 End of the film is so W. Bro saves the day, almost dies, gets saved, gets a nice little smooch, shoots himself up with sum shiz, almost beats the dude to death, sees that…

My favourite DC movie. Rewatching this movie after watching the Penguin made me like more than the first time I watched this. I think that Robert Pattinson is also my favourite Batman. I like how Batman is a detective in this movie and I likened how dark the movie looks. By far my favourite DC movie.

I found it lead on some parts in the middle, but I think it’s still a good movie with a lot of good narrative. I like the display of Batman near the end how most people seem as vengeance but he really is hope. I think my favourite scene is the one where Riddler is an Arkham near the end with the Joker. Maybe my second favourite scene is the big finale with all the Riddler lawyer lists with the…

Best BATMAN movie ever. Dark, gritty, visceral, real and grunty. a real detective piece of art. As accurate as comic adaptations can be. Standing ovation to Paul Dano for playing the Riddler. He had that sweet, innocent, normal good guy look and was equally menacing, scary and dangerous at the same time. Special appreciation to RobPat too. I think this is his best work so far on screen. Portraying a Bat who has been a nocturnal animal for years and…

Robert Pattinson is the best Batman ever put to screen. He just fits the role so well, he’s emotionless, dark and mysterious. It doesn’t feel like he’s really straining to put on a deep voice either like I felt Christian did. This makes his performance more natural and immersive in my opinion. The Batmobile is sick in this film, definitely my favourite one yet. The scene when it is first used is amazing. My favorite part of this film is the atmosphere. Gotham is dark, rainy and grimy. This backdrop fits Batman perfectly. 10/10, Best Batman film ever made.

what Reeves did here is create the best superhero film of all time. Batman has never been portrayed this dark, emotional, poetic, and epic as he is here. Pattinson performance is astounding to say the least. the way the plot moves is so engaging and well paced, i’ve never been so glued to my seat. the camera work and colorgrading are fantastic, there are so many memorable shots throughout this film and i cannot wait to see the sequel. i…

This is so much better than all of the Nolan Batman films combined. This film shows Batman actually being the world’s greatest detective and how corrupt Gotham actually is. The soundtrack is fantastic, the way the film is shot is incredible, the performances are excellent. There a few minor flaws in this film but known major enough to take you out of the film. When it was first announced that Robert Patinson would be Batman I was very sceptical of…

Very happy with Zoe Kravitz, my wife, and her performance as cat woman. Proud you honey The film isn’t very charismatic, it’s not a superhero movie. Its darker and cruder and different from what we’re used to in comic book movies and thats good for Batman Pattinson still feels a bit immature as Batman and Bruce Wayne but I think that was done on purpose, it’s a good set up for the future movies.

Such an impressive film, the lighting, the camera techniques, the actors. I’ve heard some say they find it to be too long, and while I can agree 3 hours is an excessive movie length, I never found myself feeling bored or like a scene needed to be scrapped. Rob and Zoe are both riveting actors and their chemistry only brings it to the next level… plus they are both so hot, which definitely doesn’t detract either. This is my second…

those twitter clips of the GCPD unloading on the batmobile during part 2 filming has inspired something so basal and instinctual in me. battinson really is HIM. every moment where i’m not watching the batman (2022) i’m thinking about how much i wish i was currently watching the batman (2022). this movie was hand-crafted by a heaven-sent angel, by DEMON REEVES, and achieved sheer perfection WITH COVID FILMING RESTRICTIONS. like it’s truly a feat that this film was so good with how…

To start this off this is the best live action Batman film by far and pretty comfortably too. This film delves into the detective/intellectual aspects of Batman’s character to a tee especially since the story for this film includes the perfect adversary to mock and be a foil to Batman’s intelligence in the Riddler played by Paul Dano a very underrated actor imo. Accompanied with the other supporting characters with the likes of Colin Farrell as the soon to be…
