For people who wish their Spielbergian family sci-fi adventure movies looked like shit and starred the worst movie star of his era doing soy banter with a precocious, knockoff Shane Black child actor who’s trying to copy his exact register of “I fucking love science!” Reddit smarm. My jaw dropped when they recycled the “that’s a lightsaber, dude” and “superhero landing!” jokes but just had a kid do them this time. Honestly, the most impressive part is that for long stretches it threatens to be a mediocre cloying time travel drama that in someone else’s hands might’ve been fine (Ruffalo and Garner straight up feel like they’re in a different movie) and then reveals that all that set-up was an…

Man, the scene in the bar with Ryan Reynolds and Jennifer Garner.. It was so beautiful. Shawn Levy and Ryan Reynolds make a hell of a duo.

ohhh so its a time travel movie about healing from daddy issues and connecting with your inner child. that’s basically it. walter scobell really is like a mini ryan gosling though with all his sass and quick comebacks. i do understand how people can find that annoying but it doesn’t bother me. and the ending? basically he still remembers everything that happened. idk how that would probably fuck things up realistically but it is a nice ending since he meets laura again.

Rewatched this for the first time since it came out and realized what an insane first project for walker scobell like imagine ur first movie cast is all of hollywood

the absolute most favourite movie of a man whose bed i was laying in while he explained to me the emotional depth of each scene right as the actors said the exact same thing because the writing of this movie didnt let its viewers think by themselves. and neither did the guy

Such a good movie I had just watched it in bitc and pieces soo kinda glad I watched the whole thing. It was soo good the visuals were good the shots were good and such good acting Walker Scobell was soo good and Ryan Reynolds as well and very casting cause he did look like mini version of Ryan Reynolds. Also love the fact how between all the fiction there was a very sweet message as well about how sometimes you can’t change the past you just need to live with it.

La ví varias veces, me gusta, es entretenida y está walker scobell y ryan reynolds

C
Fun watch, not necessarily a funny one, though the quips land throughout. Plenty of action, good characters, and a genuinely great dynamic between young Adam and grown-up Adam. Both sides bring wisdom, both bring sympathy, and the back and forth between them is where the movie is at its best. The young Adam actor especially carries a lot of that chemistry. Where it falls short is the story itself. Conceptually it’s solid, but the villain and the dystopian future driving…

So Gooddd , Walker Scobell was amazing in this and the plot was really interesting and there wasn’t many slow parts it was on going action and emotional sequences
-
B
Quite a fun movie with moments that will make you tear up and moments that will make you yell at the screen – but fret not, because there’s plenty of the in-between. Ryan Reynolds and Walker Scobell struck gold with their chemistry, and Mark Ruffalo and Jennifer Garner gave good performances as well. At the end of the day, this is two movies – a heartfelt and touching story about a middle-aged man traveling back in time and achieving closure with his parents, and a subpar and sloppy sci-fi flick about saving the world.
-
M
lowk the fact that this isn’t a marvel movie is kinda wild

Ow! Those were my feelings Ryan Reynolds, Mark Ruffalo, Zoe Saldana and Walker Scobell just hurt Solid story throughout where I’m almost certain the science doesn’t overall hold up, but it does tug at the heartstrings and get you super invested in how it ends Oh and I personally think this is one of those movies where Reynolds doesn’t just play himself but to each their own

You hate him because he died. You made yourself hate him because it was easier than missing him. OH CAUSE FUCK YOU LITTLE ADAM. Adam is stronger than me cause I would’ve cried an ocean if I were to time travel and see my parents again. P.S. I’m gonna smoke that banana. P.P.S. Ang saya, anak ni Hulk si Percy Jackson.

Great movie! Such an original and unique plot, with the perfect balance of wholesomeness, comedy, and science geekiness. So happy that Laura’s “echo” theory was right, leading Adam to hug his mom and Adam to find Laura again. Cheers to Adam and Adam!

Genuinely such a talented cast. Walker Scobell is one of the most amazing actors I’ve seen of his age. I will definitely be looking for more of his projects in the future. The chemistry that he has with the actors so much more older than him shows a great talent.

Achei muito bonito como o filme fala sobre luto, culpa e amadurecer, mas principalmente sobre essa vontade meio desesperada de voltar no tempo e consertar aquilo que a gente sabe que não pode mais mudar.

You know it’s bad when Walker Scobell is your strongest performing actor here. I really don’t what i was expecting, it’s a Ryan Reynolds film directed by the walking ass crack that is Shawn Levy, literally fucking match made in hell, like you cannot make that shit up. It’s uninteresting, bland, basic, and worst of all, just fucking boring, but the one thing i honestly find ridiculous is the fact that they got such a star studded cast here. I…
