the great tragedy of the modern era is John turning from this sweet, funny, likable kid into Mark Wahlberg. Seth MacFarlane is the modern Shakespeare. i hope Shea Whigham’s daughter is having a wonderful day

“Johnny, we’re watching porn. It’s either gonna be creepy or tragic. Those are the choices.”

I was shocked at how much I enjoyed this show, it’s not the funniest thing in the world but it’s got enough heart to keep you invested in these characters. Surprisingly one of the greatest sitcoms in recent years.

Season 1: 8/10. Season 2: 7.3/10. Overall 7.6/10. I liked a lot of the comedy when watching this but some of it was weird which I didn’t like. I think the actors chosen were great. Most episodes were good, but some could just be total misses. Still after that I can say this is a great show.

I physically couldn’t stop watching this. I put this on after watching both of the films, and it was even better than them in my opinion. I found it extremely funny, and the two main characters were very likeable.

Didn’t even know this was on letterbox, as a 16 year old male this was peak comedy, just the jokes were so out of pocket and hilarious, the characters were HILARIOUS, the whole family was fucking awesome comedy wise, I’ve rewatched this show for the third time and I will watch it again by January, It so funny and I hope they do a s3, or atleast let the animation series be good, and let the movie be WELL

A more consistently funny show than modern Family Guy and it truly sucks that we’re not getting a third season.

This review is only going to be about season two of this show, but the whole thing was amazing. I probably like season two better, though. But, for both seasons, I guess, this was just so refreshing to get a comedy like this in this day and age, and as a TV show. It is so funny. I also absolutely love all of the characters. I love how they kind of tied some stuff into the movies in the end to explain some stuff. I am really mad that there is not going to be another season of this, most likely.

How did some of the best comedy TV of the last 5 years come from TED of all things? Don’t really care for the films, so coming into this wasn’t expecting much. But the chemistry between the cast, the humour, it works really well and kept me engaged through to the end. Actually works better without seeing the films because you don’t have the context that he ends up a loser

Weirdly enough, a truly fantastic show, brilliantly written characters, and SO much better than the movies. I love having a stoner teddy bear making funny quips at shockingly realistic scenarios
