Le cri de Tarzan qui a matrixé notre génération limite j’ai eu des frissons en l’entendant. Un plaisir de revoir Tarzan que j’ai beaucoup vu étant plus petit. L’histoire est toujours très touchante et la scène où les braconniers commence à les capturer ça fait mal au cœur à chaque fois même si tu connais la suite. Les chansons sont plutôt logique avec l’histoire en cours et ne sont pas juste là pour être là donc ça passe bien. Par contre l’histoire d’amour ça n’a aucun ptn de sens mais bon ça reste un film pour enfant et ça donne une bonne morale.

Jane, I get you, because I fear I, too, would move to a jungle for a man… lol. Haven’t watched this in much more than a decade and didn’t remember a single thing, but this movie always reminds me of my uncle because I used to watch it with him as a child. It was one of his favorites, and I would even call him Tarzan for some reason, lmao. We even used to play Tarzan games. I loved the movie just as much this time around! So much fun! Kala’s my favorite character. 🙂

Le design de Tarzan me parait très ingénieux car il rappelle les assets phisiques des singes (muscles des avants bras prononcés, phalanges protubérantes, postures) sans pour autant faire du héros autre chose qu’un humain J’ai trouvé le film très audacieux dans ses mouvements de caméra au sein de décors en 2D (ou qui en ont du moins l’apparence) qui fourmient de détails ! Il l’est égalemeng par la violence de certaines scènes, celle du trépas de l’antagoniste en tête..! La qualité de la bande originale n’a également rien à prouver étant donné la star sur qui elle repose. Un Disney qui mérite sa réputation !

I don’t understand why no one really talks much about the action direction in this film. Like, holy shit, did that budget get put to good use here. You can really see a clear line across the Disney Renaissance of the studio really coming into it’s prime with it’s understanding of animation and execution of the pipeline, and here it outright feels like they’re showing off.

Really cute. I enjoyed watching this and I think it has such a sweet story. I really liked Tarzan as a character and his relationship with Kala is one of the most touching parts of the movie. The whole story about him trying to understand where he belongs is really emotional. The animation is beautiful and the jungle setting gives the movie a great atmosphere. The songs are also a big part of what makes it so memorable, especially the emotional moments. It’s funny, sweet and sometimes surprisingly emotional. Definitely a lovely Disney movie.
