This movie is ridiculous. it has no ambition of being a serious war movie. It’s action-packed tank porn, every single time a tank fires it goes into bullet time. There’s a lot of things wrong with it: the dialogue is terrible, the girl doesn’t do anything and exists just so there can be a romance subplot and there’s plenty of moments that make no sense. Despite all of that it’s highly enjoyable, the action and visuals are great. I can’t say no to a movie about tanks blowing things up in beautiful slow-motion.

“We were fighting for our land.” This film is seemingly a remake of The Lark (1964). I have unfortunately seen very few Russian films, one of my favorites however was The Spacewalker (2017). Though now, I can confidently say T-34 is another favorite as I was completely engrossed throughout the film. The special effects during battle were outstanding, the slow-mo, while used often, was gorgeously shot. It made the actions by both German and Russian tank crews feel so palpable. I felt as if I was in the battle with them at times. The filmmakers accurately depicted the essence of being stuck within a metal beast being hit by shells that could obliterate the interior if not expertly dodged at…

J’ai vraiment bien aimé *T-34*. C’est un film sympa à regarder, avec de bonnes scènes d’action et un rythme qui tient bien. Je l’ai regardé en VF parce que la VO était assez difficile à suivre sans sous-titres, mais ça ne m’a pas empêché de profiter du film. Rien d’exceptionnel non plus, mais c’est un film cool et divertissant, sans prise de tête.

Point de vue plutôt original en étant à l’intérieur des blindé et avec des images numériques qui casse le rythme mais plutôt grossier et se remarqué très vite. Ça fais des images esthétiques, sans plus. En dehors de cela, le film est un crachat des propagandes avec des personnages très cliché, des histoires parallèles pour rajouter du temps d’image et qui ne s’incruste que dans l’héroïsation du soldat soviétique. En somme, un film très banal qui n’a rien de palpitant avec beaucoup de passage à jeter.

War thunder players be like: Seriously though this movie is very dramatized and overdone. Definitely not a war film that exists in any reality. There are moments of realism – particularly costume design, and set design. But this is mostly Russian propaganda that serves to justify foreign conflict, mostly the Ukraine war.

I’ve never watched a war film that focuses mainly on tanks, but god am I glad I have now. This movie was genuinely a masterpiece. The soundtrack was AMAZING. And goodness me, do I even have to talk about the slow-mo scenes? For what I thought was gonna be a boring movie about tanks, ended up being something I wish I watched sooner. A great entertaining watch about a T-34 crew from World War 2. It features very dramatic and fun to watch tank standoffs and even infantry battles. However, the ending is kind of a let down as the movie loses a lot of its traction with reality and goes full blast with impossible tank maneuvers and standoffs.

It’s an interesting story weirdly told. There’s a decently fascinating WWII escape tale somewhere in here, but it’s shot like a stylized Fast & Furious movie. It’s a little disconcerting, but also bizarrely cool. The ton of The Matrix CGI slo-mo effects and green screen scenes don’t capture the look of the 1940s at all. Tank porn fans will probably dig this, with shots of real T-34 and mock Panther tanks wedged in between all the cartoon footage of 76mm rounds…

“Expensive German cars!” This was a blind pick by Wrenna and was surprisingly okay but that’s about it, Russian soldiers become WWII POWS but try to break out. Pretty flat plot but okay overall. There were some really cool tank shots they did but still overall alright. This film is stupid. But the first half hour is fantastic. Just watch that, and stop watching when the battle is over. Unfortunately all available blu-rays suck. The Russian disc overdubbs the German dialogue. The German one overdubbs the Russian dialogue. The US disc doesn’t overdubb, but removed all the explicit references to communism for some reason. Track down the ICPCK fan edit for the best experience.

Película bélica y de muchaaa acción, la verdad no me gusto tanto como pensé que me iba a gustar. Siento que lo que buscaban los directores fue agigantar al ejército rojo, lo cual no está mal pero ya hacerlo invencibles me parece exagerado, aunque este tipo de películas sea quien sea el protagonista siempre magnifican estas situaciones como si fueran inmortales. La contienda entre dos grandes comandantes de tanques esta buena y la parte final, en la escena donde se reconocen el uno al otro la banque Peli decente a mi parecer que si te copa ver mucha acción esta buena pero no mas que eso

Buena peli, se asemeja a lo que pasó en los frentes. Tengo que recalcar igual, el poco realismo que se ve a veces, como hacer siempre heróico o que los protagonistas zafan. Pero a su vez, debo recalcar el realismo en el tanque y en las batallas, que es muy cercano a la realidad. Le doy un 7/10.

A good film, I think it does a good job of riding the line between history and entrainment. Great sets, good acting, beautiful shots, little bits of propaganda, which is always fun to watch.
