Cute enough! Nico Haraga and Kiernan Shipka are really great. A vessel for Caleb Hearon and Trammell Tillman to steal the show. Honorable mention for Christine Taylor. But I gotta just mention Caleb Hearon again. Excellent use of Bo Diddley, Zou Bisou Bisou, Sam Cooke, and When Harry Met Sally.

Cute but kinda directionless, the ending made sense but also the opposite of why i watched this film whoops. I 100% think the film should have been a cunty queer episodic “one night” film following Caleb Hearon as he prepares to come out to his parents and ends up on some mad colourful diva journey. He honestly stole the show in an effortless way and deserved top billing imo

On a rewatch I can say this movie is not as good as I remember but it still has good moments. I do think the ending is okay and honestly was against how these type of movies usually go. Caleb Hearon is hilarious as always in this film.

The only thing I remember was Caleb Hearon doing whatever Caleb Hearon does. with that said, I couldn’t recall a plot point to save my life, but I had fun watching it and sometimes that’s all I want a movie to do.

It was pretty good! Definitely had some funny bits and the premise was interesting. I don’t know that it would be worth a rewatch, but it’s a fun movie to throw on for a movie night. I definitely have a love hate feeling about the ending, but respect that it wasn’t predictable. Overall, pretty good movie!

A quite-good modern rom-com. There are some obvious bits: I’m gay. I’m Kurt and watching When Harry Met Sally (I don’t like movie within movie unless it’s for completely random fun) but that’s a classic of the genre and I do think this is upholding the genre in a way I respect (and this makes me feel old but peaceful?).
