It doesn’t get more Superman than this. Cut from the same cloth as Sam Raimi’s Spider-Man in the purest, most sincere and hopeful way. Genuine delight to my eyes I’m smiling ear to ear typing this. In love with the lived in superhero world and with the way Gunn teases the future… I NEED THE WHOLE LOAD NOW. Corenswet and Brosnahan nailed it — that really is Clark and Lois. Lex Luthor might’ve stolen the show for me, Hoult displays some of the greatest hating I’ve ever seen. Let’s also talk about The Flash’s cinematographer getting redemption, this film looks TERRIFIC (say that again). The action is by far and away the best Superman action I’ve seen on screen and it’s so dynamic and badass I’m just grateful to be alive. It really has this Saturday morning cartoon charm that just works. I can’t wait to see this again and again because DC IS BACK!!!!!!

so nice for a superhero movie villain to actually be evil and not just “bad guy because the movie says he is bad”… like if I ever see you on the streets Lex Luthor it is ON SIGHT because of what you did to my best friend (Mali the falafel vendor 😪☝️)

Hey buddy, look Up!

Re watching this and I feel it’s much better second time around, the first 30/40 mins are great. The Lois and superman scenes are a standout for performances and nailing down who these characters are (the interview scene may be my favourite part of the movie). I wasn’t too keen on guy Gardner and some of the other additions but I did like Mr Terrific. The action scenes were all choreographed so well and to see superman do a lot…

This is exactly what Superman is supposed to be and represent: a hero who sees the good in everyone and everything, despite being shown the opposite time and time again. A hero who understands the power of showing up and being there for those in need. We’ve all had times in our lives when we’ve needed a Superman, and I, for one, would’ve wanted this one to show up. Someone who represents hope, peace, and good. Someone who takes the…

This might be the one time where I feel that some form of retreading the origin story would’ve worked better than the finished result. I understand the choice of dropping you into a moment of Clark Kent/Superman’s life that isn’t too far into his “career” but still at a point where you don’t need to explain his beginnings. It offers you a chance at crafting the start of this cinematic journey without having to necessarily deal with direct comparisons to…

one hell of a pick me up. soooooo much hope. literally one of the best cbms. i love how no one bats an eye when super powered individuals come through since they’ve been pre-established. this universe is almost just sunshine’s and rainbows. i like evil billionaire getting owned and it does a great job at showing the atrocities and war crimes the US and “boravia” does to other people. i really love how the videos message is vague and unclear…

E, sinceramente, me surpreendeu MUITO.

This movie is a really nice refresher based on the past DC adaptations, and I do genuinely enjoy David corenswet as Superman even though I miss Henry Cavill. Mr terrific and krypto are absolute ballers in this movie and save the day repeatedly. Lois is kind of a bitch though and difficult to like at times. Loved lex Luther and guy gardner though they were brilliantly done. Not to mention the score for this movie was fantastic I love the music. Except the fuck ass element baby >:(
