Alden Ehrenreich is terrific young actor, I wish him nothing but success in the future, and if he’s Han Solo, I’m Captain Kirk. A lot of people make fun of the scene where an Imperial recruiter dubs him Han Solo because he’s alone, but I literally never had a last name until I went to karaoke for the first time.

I don’t even know what to talk about. I guess I like it? It’s mildly entertaining with some great action scenes. L3 is far worse than Jar Jar but she gets blowed up after 20 minutes so it’s ok. Donald Glover is having fun with it. But yeah I see no reason to ever watch this movie again

Imperial officer: What’s your name, son? Han Solo: Han. Imperial officer: Han what? Who are your people? Han Solo: I don’t have people. I’m alone. Imperial officer: Han… Solo. The End.

the connect-the-dots storytelling of these interstitial standalone movies has quickly gone from “tired” to “excruciating.” but thank the sweet lord jesus for Phoebe Waller-Bridge. give the people L3-37: A STAR WARS STORY! it’s the humane thing to do. the train is good. Lando is good (and *totally* pansexual) that one cameo is… i don’t even know. maybe good? nothing else is good. the muddy filter Bradford Young throws over everything is inexplicable.

You know what? I fuck with this movie. Honestly, this is pretty much a buddy cop action flick where Han and Chewbacca are the two cops. What I loved most about Solo: A Star Wars Story is it doesn’t tarnish or change the Han Solo we know and love whatsoever. This is more or less a harmless fun space cowboy adventure movie (very comparable to Indiana Jones, but not as good). Han, Lando, and Chewbacca were all great. I really enjoyed all 3 of them. This movie actually had good characters unlike Rogue One! Despite all the reshoots and problems with production, I think this turned out quite well. It’s well made, well acted, has several fun action sequences, good…

Alden Ehrenreich gives a solid performance as Han, paying homage to Harrison but decently with his own spin, with other solid cast members like Woody Harrelson and Donald Glover, and there’s some neat action, but ultimately fails to justify its existence outside of just being a disposable side story. A fun one-watch movie in my estimation… BUT DARTH MAUL SHOWED UP AND I CLAPPED!!! 👏👏👏

This movie would make a great drinking game. Idk what the rules would be but it would.

MY GOAT DARTH MAUL GOT A CAMEO LETS GOO! i like the new actor for han solo, its good to see new faces in blockbuster hollywood films like this, especially from big studios such as disney / lucasfilm however, i wouldn’t say he looks like harrison ford. it’s confusing, you see him from one angle and they’re the same person, and then you see him from another angle and he couldn’t look more different. this is mainly because literally no…

I started out as a lone voice proclaiming that this movie was actually good. Lately, a chorus of converts has joined me. This movie is fun. It is exactly what a Han Solo movie should be. It’s a heist flick. It has several heists in it. It has fun and chippy dialogue. Alden Ehreneich is a great Han Solo. Donald Glover is an even better Lando. I like Woody Harrelson a lot in this. Paul Bettany makes a great tooth…

They should’ve made this an enemies-to-buddies/lovers series with Han & Lando (and Chewie of course) and I bet it would’ve been fan-fucking-tastic.
