It definitely has its moments but if I’m being honest, Brad Pitt was definitely the best part of this film. It’s one of my favorite roles he plays. Other than that it just felt a bit too messy for me.

A sentimental 5 stars this. One of my top 4 because when I first saw it, in my teens, I had never seen anything like it. Funny, chaotic, great soundtrack and beautifully quotable. Pitt and Graham are excellent and Brick Top is one of the funniest characters in any film. Statham is bang average, as usual, but I don’t care.

Everyone’s on some thick British cocaine in this movie and I love it, even though everyone was talking like this Saying Brad Pitt steals the show in this one is like saying syrup is the whole reason you eat a stack of chocolate chip pancakes. Sure, it gets everything all sweet, but it’s a fuckin’ stack of chocolate chip pancakes. There’s already so much sweetness the syrup just fits right in. Just like Brad in this masterpiece of bloody comic.

De los comienzos de Guy Ritchie, y es increíble como se nota la testosterona y las ganas de ser un Tarantino desde los primeros minutos, no en la forma de lo visceral y Gore, sino en la forma de ejercer la cámara y la historia en momentos muy Pulp Fiction (y sí, hablo de esos 5 minutos de secuencia donde pasas de la comedia, lo absurdo, el asombro, la acción y otra vez a la comedia…WoW, la cantidad de giros…

Maybe my third watch? My friend Phillip really liked Guy Ritchie films in high school and especially liked this one. And you know what? It’s great. Funny how the roaming people really do come across as badass. I watched this to prove Jason Statham can do more than just action films.

Tarantinezca. La había visto cuando era muy chico (qué miraba no?) y no recordaba muchas cosas. El humor inglés es bastante particular, aún así me hizo reir un montón, además de que está acompañada por un gran guión. Todos los personajes te hacen cagar de risa también. La forma en la que está filmada y la dirección me gustaron muchísimo, sé que es marca registrada del director. Dudaba mucho la nota pero escuchar Fuckin’ in the Bushes en la última escena me convenció del 9.

Un peliculón, una joyita si duda. La forma en que cruzan todas esas historias paralelas es muy gosu, el caos sin parar y todo termina encajando de una manera absurda pero bacan. Pero sin duda lo mejor se lo lleva el actor de “El Ladrillo” (Brick Top), qué actuación tan fina de ese pata, se roba el show por completo con esa vibra fría y de enfermo mental. Y el final xd ptmre, un cierre con ese humor negro bien finolis. Pura adrenalina, diálogos picantes y una vibra de subsuelo que engancha ricolino.

My father was a bouncer in Manchester in the late-1950s. He always told me that the worst people to fight were tinkers, because they were prone to bite, scratch, and attack in large numbers.
