“contrived” is pretty common in the saw franchise so i don’t tend to mind it… but i think insecurity around being contrived, and spending upwards of 60 minutes trying to explain and justify contrivances… you already got me. you don’t need to do that! boring, and the trap plot completely fell on its face. i like the teamwork idea but we just don’t get to know them enough for it to be rewarding. i wanted it to be over for the last hour. that’s never a good sign
