**10th viewing** **Extended Edition** I LOVE that Alec Baldwin hates this movie. Like you’re in the live action Cat In The Hat and the fucking Boss Baby but this is your worst film?? Sure, Jan.

I am lying in bed watching Rock of Ages VOD. I am slack jawed. Stunned. How is it possible after 100 years of cinema to make something as bad as this?

As far as critical and commercial flops that get really boring in the second hour and tanked the career of their director go…this was kind of peak

A movie jam-packed with fun surprises (appearances of people that are cancelled) it’s saving grace is that my baby loves their weird tom cruise performances and happy wife happy life

Sometimes, it just has to make you feel something. And in that, Rock of Ages absolutely succeeds.

For a while, I feel like my mother would claim that a movie was a classic cause she watched it in her 10s-20s and we just took her word for it cause we didn’t know better. I remember thinking for my entire childhood that Rock of Ages was a must watch classic that everyone knew and loved because of her. Imagine my surprise when I found out that it wasn’t, much to the contrary. It’s overwhelmingly camp but in a…

Für Musicalliebhaber und Rückfahrt sicherlich toll. Für mich persönlich gehört ein Musical auf die Bühne. Toll besetzt um jeden Fall…

Is this cheesy? Yes. So cheesy. Is this Tom Cruise’s worst performance? Possibly but Dead or Alive and Pour Some Sugar on Me are sacred so maybe he was set up to fail. It doesn’t matter. It’s fun. It rocks. It has a happy ending. Mary J Blige is a Queen and Hey Man should win Best Supporting Actor.

“This man spews out three things: sex… hateful music… and… …sex!” It’s just so much fun, I can’t help but sing along and vibe with the whole film It’s beautiful

I want to know what love is -Forget couch-hopping, Tom Cruise is Malin Akerman ass-micing! A jukebox musical consisting of nothing but 80s rock standards should be right up my alley. After all, I’ve been writing one that may be completely different in setting and is a lot more tragic in tone, but I thought I’d go on a little research trip where I don’t need to leave my easy chair. This afternoon, I went out to the western fringes…

Not bad. I actually enjoyed the energy and the whole 80s rock atmosphere even if the story itself didn’t do much for me. Tom Cruise is definitely the highlight. His performance as Stacee Jaxx is completely over the top and he clearly has a lot of fun with the character. The rest of the cast is good too and I liked the chemistry between Julianne Hough and Diego Boneta. The music is obviously one of the best things about the…
