i love how when sosuke finds ponyo he calls her a goldfish even though she literally just looks like a human baby and we just let it slide

I don’t think a film has ever made me feel such unbridled whismy and enthusiasm. Or second-hand embarrassment.

My favorite ghibbli movie the animation is just absolutely insane the story is lovely and wholesome It’s just a great time all around. Also to me ponyo teaches us to be our true selves and embrace the life we want to have 🥰
