Such a fun ride! It’s witty, fast-paced, and relies on brains over brawn. Seeing Sandra Bullock and Cate Blanchett run the show is worth the watch alone. Ultimate comfort-movie energy.

Like ehhhh I liked it a lot more the first time I watched it. James cordon ruined a lot for me. Also the sexual tension between Sandra bullock and cate blanchett was palpable. You can’t convince me they weren’t lesbians.

Anne Hathaway being delightfully dramatic? Helena Bonham Carter looking permanently overwhelmed? Perfect casting, no notes. The heist is clever, the outfits are immaculate, and watching these women outsmart everyone is ridiculously satisfying. Five stars. I support women’s rights, women’s wrongs, and women stealing Cartier diamonds.

I was already on the edge with this film but I physically felt the energy leave my body when James Corden wandered in. Emblematic of a film that’s so sadly lacking in gravitas. Hathaway is the only one convincingly having fun. Sandra Bullock is half asleep. Hard not to compare it to the original when it’s trying to emulate the style – which it sometimes does, but too often with none of the juice

Very nice, easy to enjoy flick. You’ll see the parallels of the old boys gang here done very well, especially Cate playing the wingman role of Brad, and Sandra does very good for the Ocean family tree. Lots of redone ideas but it’s fun. If there’s is anything I’ve learned from these Ocean’s movies, is that you don’t run a job, in a job. But I’ve also learned that the Ocean’s know know to pull them off anyway.
