i blame this movie for my ridiculous beliefs of love because i just expect every man i meet to serenade me on top of an elephant while a choir of unseen children provide backing vocals

“The greatest thing you’ll ever learn is just to love and be loved in return.” ⋆✴︎˚｡💋ྀིྀི⋆ ⊹₊ when you see Nicole Kidman in the cast, you can be sure that the movie will be the craziest in every meaning, in every sense. she’s like a magnet for good scenarios, beautiful visuals and abundance of feelings. “Moulin Rouge!” will change you, will left you with no words and after will make you think about it. this film is about love, love as…

You gotta give it to Baz Luhrmann man, he truly is 1 of 1 when it comes to film directors, no one does it like him. Moulin Rouge! is fantastic; it’s for sure not for everyone which is typical for Luhrmann movie, but I had a real good time with it. The fist hour of this movie is some of the most over-stimulating sequences I’ve ever seen in a movie; the editing is so wild and there are so many…

Perhaps the Bazziest Baz Luhrmann film. Some of the most chaotic sequences I’ve ever seen. Few films are so capable of being beautiful or hideous at any given moment. The production design, costumes, and music (most of the time) are great, the editing not so much. Some wonderful scenes in between (still technically impressive) sludge. An impressive creative achievement despite the flaws. Thinking I might like it more on an eventual rewatch now that I know what to expect
