EVERYONE WHO TOLD ME THIS MOVIE WAS BAD INSTEAD OF COMPLETELY DELIGHTFUL IS NOW ON MY SHIT LIST. Snow White’s insane swan headpiece? Invented fashion. The scene where she beats up Armie Hammer? Invented feminism. The dramatic scene with the apple? Invented subversion of fairytale tropes. AND THE STRAIGHT UP NON-SEQUITUR BOLLYWOOD DANCE AT THE END……….EVERYTHING WAS SO WONDERFUL On another note, nobody in film designs costumes like Eiko Ishioka. Every piece was just so gorgeous and unforgettable – she was a legend and (still) an inspiration!!

there’s a scene where armie hammer asks lily collins if she learned nothing from her spanking and then he gets kicked by a horse and lily punches him in the face and it was just a lot to process in such a short space of time

I’ve seen this movie so many times, I’m pretty sure it’s because I’m hypnotised by Lilly Collin’s. Despite, the last 15-20 of Snow White singing I believe on repeat, I love every second of this movie. She looks insanely beautiful in this movie like seriously. She fits Snow White so perfectly because she’s literally the most beautiful woman. Her fair skin and black hair was so pretty on her. I don’t think anyone’s ever played Snow White better than her.…

Lily Collins como branca de neve é simplesmente perfeito e a química dela com o príncipe é incrível. Amo essa adaptação, a Disney podia se inspirar nela.

Just like Once Upon a Time , it takes already established characters, mythos and transformers them into something different. It’s a lot of fun but I think it unfortunately suffers from a very poorly structured screenplay. Still like it tho!

This is a snow white movie but evil queen steals the show🤪 They ruined the whole snow white tale but in a really good way 🙂 It’s cheesy and it’s funny. Beautiful costumes. Good acting. Good humour. Good cinematography. Good music. It’s like a parody of snow white. I had some good laughs throughout the entire movie. I absolutely dig it.

Julia Roberts slayed, and Nathan Lane’s supportive comedy is very enjoyable. Unfortunately, it’s a snow White Movie. Could’ve been turned into the Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo and Julia Roberts would’ve been so good for that.

This movie is So beautiful. Perhaps even the fairest of them all – certainly up there as the fairest live action version I’ve watched, outside of Blancanieves which isn’t really going for a fairy tale aesthetic anyway. The costuming, production design, hair and makeup, etc here were absolutely exquisite. Snow White’s first dress and SWAN DRESS!!!!! in particular really took my breath away. I LOVED the design for the dwarfs as well. Actually, I enjoyed the dwarfs in general, and…

“Age before beauty.” Okay, as far as the dueling 2012 Snow White movies go, the council decrees that this is the stronger movie!! Is the screenplay good? Well, it’s often mostly good!! It makes very good use of montages and a lot of the relationships are fun and kind of juicy if you squint! The Queen being petulant and shallow and mean was a blast, and once again her relationship to magic is one of the most interesting things in…

So unbelievably strange and I loved it. Other than him acting like a dog and multiple weird scenes with Snow getting spanked 🥴 I really did like it. I thought it was very entertaining and funny. Waayy better than the new Snow White movie.
-
K
Interesting concepts and lovely set pieces and costuming but I cannot place the themes and vibes it’s going for. It’s…weird, the tone is all over the place and sometimes uncomfortable… Terrible writing. Characters have 0 chemistry, the “comedy” never lands. I enjoy the creativity (I liked the remote mannequin battle) but it’s not held together well overall. Editing is also poorly done and a little jarring at times. Splicing together several rapid cuts in one second does not make a…

This is not my favorite version, especially because of musical part, but it is visually beautiful.

was gonna lose my mind 😭 I just found this movie again—I watched it like 7 years ago and I’ve rewatched it two or three times. It’s genuinely SO good. I only like Snow White in this version hahaha. The story is so well written, and I love how she’s such a strong and intelligent girl

Fuck this film is just amazing! First rewatch in a while and now I realise how fucking funny it is. The costumes are an immediate draw in, but what I noticed more this time around is how good the humour is. The cast is absolutely stacked (fuck armie hammer though) and the film definitely needs more recognition. I genuinely believe this is the best adaptation of Snow White ever, I love the gender twist on true loves kiss and the…

Like most of Tarsem Singh’s films, Mirror Mirror is undeniably beautiful — but its treatment of the age-old Snow White fable lacks enough depth or originality to set it apart from the countless other adaptations of the tale.
- Synopsis
- After she spends all her money, an evil enchantress queen schemes to marry a handsome, wealthy prince. There's just one problem - he's in love with a beautiful princess, Snow White. Now, joined by seven rebellious dwarves, Snow White launches an epic battle of good vs. evil...
