   Love is freedom, love takes courage, and love is friendship. I will kill to find a best friend like Jaehee, to be honest. I am genuinely happy that this has the same warmth and few accurate visuals as the original novel. I have to acknowledge that the way Love in the Big City retelling what the book/novel was trying to say with such knowledge and understand the society relevance is incredible. A coming-of-age film that the formula is no stranger but what the storytelling delivered is attractive, the difference this time includes sentimental themes. I was so used to love stories that started with a strange meeting story and evolved, that I was surprised to see such an enviable friendship. A wild, free-spirited and completely unique young girl and a withdrawn and insecure young man. Strange coincidences and a relationship spanning over 10 years.     ‘love in the big city’ is one of my favourite films, i think it’s so beautiful. their friendship feels so genuine & loving, something that i’ve always wanted but refuse to rush, i hope to find a person someday that can have this sort of friendship with me. it sounds silly but i decided to try blueberries for the first time after watching this & it turns out that i like them 🙂

    (Eu queria tanto assistir a esse filme.) Achei lindo, galera (8/10). Amei a atuação e o desfecho. A única coisa que me entristeceu foi a agressão do ex dela ter passado batido e ter sido engolida pelo monólogo sobre a amizade deles. É um assunto muito sério e eu fiquei muito preocupada na cena, muito pesado isso.

    Friendship as raw as it can be. Story about coming out of age and dealing with the things that life throws at you but TOGETHER. Just felt really close to home as I do have friendships like this one that I care about deeply and that maybe in the future the bond would distance itself naturally.
