As far as girlfailure “that’s my lesbian daughter grumblo” goes, Kyomoto is 料理鼠王. The movie tries to say something about “what it’s like to be a creator”, in a way that I think speaks to someone who isn’t familiar of doing something for the love of the game, but only gets so far as to explicitly bringing it up for the audience in a post-credits interview

Hâte de voir comment le goat Kore-eda va adapter cette animation. J’ai bien aimé mais je trouve vraiment l’histoire trop rapide, on à à peine le temps de découvrir Kyomoto que c’est déjà fini. Je trouve que ça aurait gagné aussi à certains moments de silence, surtout quand Fugino retourne chez Kyomoto après l’événement. Je pense que l’adaptation de Kore-eda va vraiment rendre cela parfait, c’est tout ce que le réalisateur maîtrise : l’amitié, l’innocence entre deux enfants, une très belle bande originale, le silence, une magnifique cinématographie, il y a un potentiel ÉNORME.

Stellar animation, beautiful backgrounds, incredible voice acting and a perfected soundtrack and sound design that makes this a flawless film. Look Back conseguiu expressar MUITO bem (pelo menos pra mim) A dor da culpa, do cansaço, obsessão e de se sentir insuficiente tudo em um só.
