I want to take some time to talk about the Epilogue of the film. I’ve heard many different theories about what the Epilogue truly means. The reality is the idea that true love is being willing to make sacrifices. In this Epilogue, Sebastian was far more willing to make sacrifices for Mia than she was for him. There is a scene earlier on in the film that beautifully foreshadows the entire story. The scene after Sebastian finds Mia’s keys and they walk to their cars; he walks right past his car just so that he can be with her while she finds her car. Je ne suis pas particulièrement fan de Ryan Ghosling à la base mais j’ai trouvé que ce rôle lui allait à merveille et il m’a complètement emportée avec lui. J’avais entendu beaucoup de bien de ce film et au début, j’ai été déçue (ça commence trop comme une veille comédie musicale du style “chantons sous la pluie” à mon goût 😅) Mais au final, je trouve que ça reste un film magnifique et la fin m’a profondément émue. La forme m’a un peu déçue mais le fond m’a eue.

10th anniversary (double feature with mutiny 😭😭😭😭) I really don’t have anything say so i’ll tell my experience how the movie’s audio went out of sync during it. It was already a red flag when it was the showtime and the previews still has not shown which was fine because they played the movie anyway until the audio started going out of sync and they had to rewind it fifteen minutes from where it stopped, i wasn’t even mad after finding out what happened in the movie lol (they basically gave us the experience) but anyways we got a re admit pass so there’s that
