The best part about this film is Christopher Nolan’s Odyssey teaser trailer playing right before

I wonder if Steven Spielberg feels like the Oppenheimer stare of regret meme every time one of these movies comes out Maybe we should let the dinosaurs be extinct.

Watched this with my sister carissa a while back, so far my favorite jurassic Park movie.

The characters in this movie are extremely bland. Not a single character has an interesting arc. The pacing is very slow and makes for an extremely boring movie. I am just over the plot of sitting through a 2 hour movie to see 10 minutes of a really cool dinosaur at the end. The dinosaurs don’t feel like a main character in this movie. This movie feels like a really boring story about characters we don’t care about, with little…

Yeah that had me clenching my asshole!!!!

I saw somewhere that Scarlett Johanson turns into dinosaur, well she doesn’t

pretty cool but the cgi buns

“Nobody cares about these animals anymore.” Lame! Dinosaurs were and still are awesome! People will always care about them. Made up monsters are boring by comparison!

I enjoyed it more than I thought I would since it has none oftheoriginal cast. Scarlett Johansson was perfect and the doctor was the cutest nerd.

They made this film with the best intentions of giving fans a new, fresh approach and style to the series… But as Dr. Grant once said (impeccably, might I add): Some of the worst things imaginable have been done with the best intentions. I watch this again and I feel physically sick. Pull the plug on “world”, bring back “park”. Hit the reset button firmly.

Super ass, cut the whole family out, double the mercs and we could’ve had the first half of Lost World reheated, at least that would’ve been entertaining. The deaths aren’t even much to look at. In my dinosaur movie. Bottom line is, I gave up on the movie the second a snicker wrapper killed every and all containment system

Y

I feel bad for allowing myself to be fooled into not watching Jurassic World Rebirth because the critics didn’t like it. I actually enjoyed it, and I enjoyed it more than the slop that has been churned out in the name of this IP over the last decade or so. Rebirth has its moments, some beautiful, some creepy, even some ripped right out of the novels. Sure, there are some major flaws, chief among those being the lack of screen…

Nothing spectacular, not awful but kinda mid to be honest. Would’ve been soo much better as a R-rated movie as people speculated with a much darker story

Oh, how they have bastardized you, Jurassic Park…. The Jurassic Park franchise is one of my favorite movie series, and I just love the premise and science fiction world throughout all the movies. I actually really like the first Jurassic World, but Jurassic World 2-3 were just shit. This is about as bad as the newer Jurassic World films, and seeing Universal just drag this series through the mud just makes me madder now than ever. Literally nothing in this…

Writing is a bit spoty at times, buh for what it’s worth, good movie, worth whatever you invest into it.

Aaaand that marks the end of my random Jurassic franchise watch-through. I really liked this one when I watched it in cinemas, and still now – albeit slightly less, and still more than most seem to… This time around the “fetch quest” narrative grew a bit tiresome, and the lack of depth to the family’s storyline became more apparent – being there to try and replicate the horror-vibe from the original. But by all accounts it’s one beautiful looking film,…

Industrial levels of dumb, but it’s fun enough.

Jurassic World: Rebirth is great when it comes to the VFX of the dinosaurs themselves and the scenic shooting, but in every other category.. it lacks substance and the dialogue is more often than not clunky and overused. The character tropes were extremely stereotypical and it added onto the fact that this movie is a hard watch. The movies should’ve ended a long time ago and I think that if they seriously want to move forward with this franchise, they need to make the Jurassic movies into horror films that aren’t for a family audience.
-
T
I dislike the whole monster aspect. I wish it was more horror like advertised but if I didn’t know it was supposed to be “terrifying” before, id like it.

I saw this in theaters last summer and just realized I never put it on here… so good tho✌️

-
J
I will admit a part of me enjoyed this film. It is objectively not very well constructed and the characters are weak, but the dialogue gets a lot better than at the start and I caught myself not paying too much attention the shallowness. The dinosaurs were very disappointing and the realism was non existent. The real pain and agony comes from, as a climber, listening to them LARP the fuck out of climbing because not a thing Zora said…
-
Z

Somehow got worse the longer the characters were on the dinosaur island. About two-thirds of the way through the film John Williams’ Jurassic Park theme plays, and it was the first time I felt absolutely nothing when hearing that piece. I like Gareth Edwards, but this project would have been difficult for any director.

“So what if we made a Jurassic World movie but it had a bad story, bad acting, and a mutant “dinosaur” that resemble a rancor that been doing meth its whole life.” That was literally the pitch for this movie word for word😐😐😐

The definition of beating a dead horse. This movie tries to recreate a nostalgic feel with the Jurassic world with very poor character development and meaning. There is no consistency in the way these characters behave and as a viewer there is no attachment to any of the protagonists in this story. The idea of mutant dinosaurs takes a sour turn in this movie that tries to treat this as a thriller with suspense and no story. Also Mahershala Ali is just invinicle somehow, go figure. Reminds me of Billy from Jurassic park 3, copied and pasted.
-
J
I knew we were in trouble when the movie started out with text and then not even three minutes later, the characters said that text in the dialogue?

This movie was somewhat enjoyable with great looking dinosaurs. But Scarlett Johansson felt very out of place, and there was also a lot of bad dialogue.

Each movie they make they send people on these crazy missions and it gets so tiring after a while because it’s just repetitive but different enough that they think it warrants the movie being “new”. And I sit here and think who in their right mind would actually go on these missions? Me. Suicidal mission to the Cretaceous? I’m there. 100% chance of dying brutally? Don’t care. I could be the first person to die and I would die happy.

More like Jurassic Perfunctory. It’s fine, and not objectionable or revolting, but it also feels incredibly paint-by-numbers. The beats are hit, the sequences are set up and played out, the attempts are made at establishing characters and emotional relevance … but it all feels somewhat basic and listless. And then the John Williams theme returns, at long last, but is used entirely inappropriately, including once with a full and pretty normal conversation happening over the top of it, and any level of general competence is overpowered by the perpetual question of “do you have any idea what you’re doing here?”
