the part where Jeff Goldblum showed up driving an ice cream truck, absolutely demolished the shit outta Bryce Dallas Howard, stepped out of the truck like nothing happened, morphed into a dinosaur, ate Chris Pratt, then looked directly at the camera and said “this my movie now, bitch” and then freestyle rapped about how the kool-aid man is out to get him for the next hour and 12.5 minutes was lowkey unexpected.

The idea of having the original cast come back and have a movie with the new cast was super exciting. It did not live up to the hype. The locust plot takes over the movie. This is supposed to be a movie about dinosaurs, and we spend most of the movie learning about these genetically modified locusts. It also doesn’t continue the story of Dinosaurs living in the main land, which Fallen Kingdom sets up. And that is really disappointing. This movie relies on nostalgia, and it doesn’t hit for me.

A swan song for the trio of actors from the first Jurassic Park. Unfortunately, the film turns out to be boring, thanks to a mediocre plot, and it’s excessively long, recycling some stuff we’ve already seen in previous installments. Had more fun watching this in IMAX, not as good upon rewatch…JW: Dominion and Star Wars: Rise of Skywalker are the world’s most expensive fan service films!
