   there’s a warmth and fun to 90s family films that i have such a hard time describing, but it’s that X factor that makes them all so enjoyable and almost immune to “not holding up” to me. this movie is silly but i think it’s genuinely very good! very very ripe for a reboot! maybe one that has a little more bite with its consumerist satire (i know about the sequel, that’s not what i mean) the cast is just fantastic though. absolutely nutso to realize that this movie takes place in like, 18 hours. most of it being over the same morning
