Adam Sandler being Adam Sandler. If what you want is silliness and juvenile humor, with heart and a happy ending, this fits the bill. As it happens, what I needed when I watched this two days ago was precisely something that would make me laugh without having to think, so I found it entertainingly ridiculous. I know critics hated it, and so did a lot of the audience. I might have hated under other circumstances, but it worked for me under the circumstances (tired and depressed).

Almost falls into the territory of so bad it’s enjoyable. But god, Adam Sandler as Jill is one of the most obnoxious characters ever, it got really old real fast. Al Pacino Dunkin’ ad was good enough to just get a 1.5 star rating. 25/100

I waited 15 years to watch this trainwreck, And after all the bad reviews and hatred from everyone: It wasn’t that bad. It’s no masterpiece, but it’s funny and family friendly for Sandler and team. Worth a watch for some dumb funny stuff.

Adam Sandler gives one of his best and simultaneously one of his worst performances in a traditional comedy. Dunkaccino is also giving way too much for this. I was legitimately entertained for most of this movie, the problem was that it was terrible and the jokes were horrendous 90% of the time. But this is also probably overhated. Seems like it should have a 2.2 rather than a 1.6 but I’m also contributing to that low score
