    Hands down the best time I’ve had at the movies all year. It is a fucking blast! Basically The Goonies with a demonic killer clown. The kid from Stranger Things steals the entire movie. His one liners were absolute gold. My sides were acing. He says this one line after the rock fight and I was crying real tears. All of the kids were exceptional. Every single kid knocks it out of the park. Everyone has their own distinct personalities, characteristics, quips, and quirks. The chemistry between the group was outstanding.     The best way to watch these movies is to treat them as a separate thing from the book, and not as an adaptation.     IT Chapter One is a damn near perfect adaptation with nightmarishly delightful visuals, a creepy film score and a young cast that gives their absolute best performances on screen. Loved the relationship/friendship dynamic between each member of the “Losers” club as they bounce from playful bantering to dead serious discussions. And while we all appreciate each of these kids’ roles in this film, The highlight of IT is of course the main antagonist, the shapeshifting nightmare clown, Pennywise, played by the legendary Bill Skarsgård, he nailed the character perfectly. Also loved the production behind this movie as well.

    Quel film mais que dire ? Ce film m’a donné envie d’avoir un groupe d’ami comme eux enfaite. Et c’est littéralement un de mes films préféré. Et c’est aussi le premier film qui m’a fait ressentir ça, une sensation d’être enfin là où je devais être. C’est con je sais.
