It’s not Top Gun: Maverick. It’s not Logan. But it’s also not Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania, and a 70-year-old Indy rides a horse into a New York subway station so let’s all just calm down

The one thing I will thank Kathleen Kennedy for is producing shit so fucking bad that now I don’t have to feel guilty when I say I like the prequels or the crystal skull anymore. Just a shame now that this is on James Mangold’s CV because I know he can do better

More like the Dial of Death! Disney did everything in its power to kill this once beloved franchise and succeeded. James Mangold is a great director, but not even he could salvage this overlong, joyless Disney production. Harrison Ford still brings the grit and John Williams brings the magic, yet Indy is treated like a broken passenger in his own adventure. Disney was so determined to modernize and correct Indiana Jones that it forgot the excitement, humor, and straightforward storytelling…

I loveeeeee movies like these it was so good and I was very entertained, this is the first movie from this franchise I’ve ever watched and the blonde with the nazi is so fucking hot, Helen pisses me tf off like bitch die, and after a couple Indiana jones thirst edits I’m going to start watching the other movies now.

It FELT like a classic Indy movie. I know there were some faults here and there, and Harrison Ford is really old but, I think they did it. I know, there’s time travel. I know, the cheese is thick at times. But I don’t care, I’m happy with this conclusion.

Indiana Jones: In the Multiverse of Madness. Generally speaking just a pretty weak Indy movie. They rely way to much on an old enemy that has been reused many times. It’s like a resurrection, while it makes sense that Harrison Ford is the only Indiana Jones, he is just to old for this. The story is pretty simple to follow, but also entertaining at times. Mads Milkelson is a great actor, but he doesn’t got all te space to be…

Disney fucking up popular franchises is itself a genre. The whole thing is just dull and pointless (especially the third act omfg what the hell was that). I love Phoebe tho and probably that’s why it’s not rated lower than this. Indiana Jones Ranked

I’m sorry. I don’t hate this thing. There are, to be sure, whiffed moments, structural aspects that only work if you squint, and they used too much damn CG. It is also true there isn’t much you can point to and say that particular moment was memorable and cool. But. As a story of an old man who has lost his bearings and knows it, surrounded by others who have lost their bearings and don’t, it works better than it…

As a fan of the older Indiana Jones movies, I think this movie didn’t have something meaningful to offer, it felt like a retreat of action/adventure movies

40 year old Indiana jones face with an 80 year old Indiana Jones voice was a nice touch.

What was the point of the movie? I mean, reconnecting with loved ones is good, but it ended in that, not really focused on it. And the villain? Indiana Jones didn’t even really have to save anyone or the world from the villain, he just goofed up.

K
This is just elder abuse lol. Indiana Jones goes out not with a bang, but with a whimper. Harrison Ford is trying, but man every time he gets beat up it’s more sad and concerning than tense and exciting. The action scenes are mediocre and don’t have that creativity that the previous movies had. John Williams score is probably the only thing from preventing this final chapter into a bore. Really emotional stuff and evokes nostalgia of the franchise. Antonio…

Possibly the most ambitious story of them all. This is on par with Crystal Skull and brings the series to an end. The latter 2 films never quite reach the greatest of the original trilogy but they are still must watches. This last instalment does suffer from being a little overlong but this is one of my all time favourite franchises.

I put off seeing this flick for a LONG time, and went into it with near subterranean expectations, purely based on what I had read from people whose opinions I trust and respect. I don’t quite have the affinity for the character of Indy as others might, being introduced to the movies rather late, renting them from the library in middle school, but I do LOVE the original 3, Temple of Doom in particular. That being said, Dial of Destiny…

Dial of Destiny is the massive final chapter in the Imdiana Jones saga. The question is, does it succeed in being an amazing end for the hero or does it fall flat? The answer is kind of both to be honest. Indiana Jones returns for a dial quest this time surrounding the Dial of Destiny and its connection to Arcemedes and Time Travel. It’s a bit ridiculous as a premise but it’s not any more outrageous than things like aliens…

What a sad bummer of a send off.. They should do just one more where he’s in a wheelchair. Why not at this point, am I right? It’s crazy how Red Hulk almost looks better than younger Indy. Brother should’ve stayed with Archimedes.

Not terrible but didn’t really answer the question of why this movie was needed at all First act is genuinely great besides the weird aged down Harrison Ford they had going on. Mads Mikkelsen was pretty good as the villain. Movie just extended its welcome being a whopping 2 hours and 30 minutes even though each previous entry fit cleanly within the 2 hour runtime. I did quite like the ending Indiana and Marion got tho she was by far the best love interest of this series

It’s okay it’s a fine movie better than I expected for an 80 year old Indiana jones. First I love mads mikkelson so I loved seeing him in the movie great villain. I really wished the last movie was the end when he got married to Marion with no problem and his son was teased to possibly carry on the legacy but at least the last scene with Marion in this one was touching. I SO badly wanted to this film to be Indy’s return to “fortune and glory”. And while it has some sequences that get close to that, a lot of the film is simply not very interesting.

Unfortunate when a movie’s two good ideas come 5/6th of the way through and are tossed off as afterthoughts

Fun adventure movie and another charming entry in the series. This movie has a look and vibrance to it that I liked. Wild hunt for a certain artifact with a wild pay off at the end.

Pure nostalgia bait, this movie literally has no character whatsoever.

Ford is too old for this. And, despite the nods to the other films, this felt lazy.

The TLJ of Indiana Jones. A legacy sequel that successfully captures the voice of the series and, at points, feels like a meaningful, impactful send off but in the end is just aggressively OK.

A rewatch did wonders for this movie after expectations were set and you cope with the change of tone. The opening act with the de-aged Harrison Ford is peak Indiana Jones. Phoebe Waller-Bridge was a good addition and overall the movie stands better being slightly more grounded. The problem with this movie is that is too bloated with scenes that doesn’t add absolutely nothing, like the one with the eels, which is also very confusing to watch. As I said, coming back to it after the slight disappointment of the first watch makes room for appreciation for a few things. Rating: 🏛️🏛️🏛️▫️▫️

I was blown away by the deaging done on Harrison Ford but literally everything past the first 15 minutes might arguably be the worst boring and drawn out way they’ve used Indiana Jones ever.

the last indiana jones rewatch :> honestly, its not as bad as i remember people said it was, it may be the callbacks to the first movies, but i enjoyed seeing sallah (LITERALLY THE GOAT, I WISH HE WENT TO MOROCCO WITH INDY), the marion ending with the callback to the first movie, much more grounded movie in terms of emotional character development, but like the time travel part is kinda odd, kinda like forced the ending to happen because…

And we’re at the end of the binge Now I understand why Indy is so popular For the final installment, he didn’t go out with a bang but at least Marion and my king Sallah came back Always has to be the Nazis

Enter Indiana Jones, once again, as we go deep to search for the final mystery of the artifact that he will unlock, the impossible that he will face. In keeping with the tradition of his other adventures from Spielberg & Lucas, James Mangold directs and co-writes the final chapter of the memorable adventurer hero, Indiana Jones (Harrison Ford). It was a bit of a letdown for its muddy characterization, too forced villains, the inexcusable decision-making at times, and the opening sequence.…

Before watching this one I was fully expecting it to be a complete turd of a movie based on audience reactions. What I found instead was that this movie was overly long, with not a whole lot of interesting stuff in the middle act, yet I still enjoyed myself well enough while watching it. Ford obviously loves playing the character, and Mikkelson does his best with the script he’s given. The final act of the movie doesn’t fully redeem the…

Behold an Indiana Jones film that feels like it doesn’t want anything to do with the franchise or character and can’t be bothered to muster up much excitement, I’m just gonna pretend the series has only 4 films

“Indy, ni una palabra a este nazi” Harrison Ford is playing Indiana Jones again, how could I not like it? It’s only one I’ve been able to watch in the cinema, so it’s special. James Mangold tries to replicate the spirit Spilberg put in the saga, and while he may fall short in some aspects, the movie stills is fun and exciting to watch. Never though that Harrison and Phoebe would have such good chemistry, but here we are! Mads…

Okay so….. I actually like this one too…. HOWEVER there’s a fundamental rule of story telling that this rule breaks… YOUR CHARACTERS CAN’T HAVE CHOICES MADE FOR THEM, ESPECIALLY WHEN IT’S THE CLIMACTIC DECISION OF THE STORY. I’m tired of having to defend this movie for that because I know it’s wrong but I’m also a pedantic nerd that knows WHY it happened… Indy would never willingly chose to not live in history however we know that canonically he was…

DATE NIGHT WITH MY HUSBAND (MADS MIKKELSEN) #5 My first Indiana Jones movie that I can actually remember. Maybe I’ve seen the previous ones as a child but the movies from my childhood are mostly a blur at this point lol Not really that impressive tbh. I love all the actors (Harrison, Phoebe, Mads and Antonio) but I don’t particularly love them in this movie. Maybe I’m just getting tired of adventure films following almost the exact same template. Still,…

le film de trop… even though there were a few things i enjoyed here and there, the story was actually pretty nice at times (i really wish he had stayed in the Roman era, but no, she had to ruin it, that would’ve made a great ending in my opinion) anyway the side characters were really nowhere near the level of the previous movies, most of them felt useless and forced into the story but the nostalgia for the previous films didn’t let me completely dislike this one

My goat is washed the movie 💔💔💔😭😭 So many times in this movie (when we weren’t making fun of it) my whole family commented on how sad this was to watch an old Harrison Ford bumble around, and some how he was still the most compelling and best actor. Indianas new sidekicks face the same problem as last movie, they are too against Indy and are too selfish. And not only that they are hard to understand half the time.…

This is where it needed to end and I’m happy they made the right decision. You can see so much modernization between this and any of the original trilogy movies. The dialogue does not feel real or genuine at all, and it got so repetitive. Put this movie in front of a 3 year old and I’d bet $1 mil they’d be able to predict what happens. Every single movie they find the treasure and then the bad guys come…

I dont know why people say its bad. It has everything the old ones had but in the modern times. Filmmaking techniques changed and so did indiana Jonus. But that doesnt make it bad. It still felt like i was watching an Indy film. Didnt like the new lady in it, she kinda pulls all the focus on her and her mostly evil ways. It just feels like she channeled that one movie and was trying restlessly not to brake the 4th wall. Mads was amazing. And the deaging they did at times was cool aswell. Overall the plot concludes justly.

A rip-roaring, classic, Indiana Jones story with heart. While not reaching the heights of the flawless Raiders of the Lost Ark or the emotional depths of The Last Crusade, The Dial of Destiny is better than Temple of Doom and The Crystal Skull. Everyone is great in it, the bravura opening sequence is lovely, the wild climax is inspiring and sad, and the bus in between work far better than they should. I am a bit mystified why this got…

J
I wish time travel could result in a perfect score. Unfortunately, the mix of nostalgia bait and introduction of new creative concepts doesn’t always mesh the best. The plot felt predictable and the villains were very weak and not intimidating whatsoever. It was cool to finally see Indiana live out his dream and see a moment in history for himself.

54/100 “I don’t know where we’re going, but it sure as hell ain’t 1939!” As far as these legacy sequels go, this would be one of my more like ones. I like that the story made a return to the historical artifacts rather than the alien spaceships that we got in the fourth movie. I also though, considering his age, that Harrison Ford did a great job and clearly still enjoys playing the character. I can’t say that I loved…

Could have left it at Crystal Skull and no one would complain if they’re smart enough to see how great that film truly is.

I really liked this movie and was surprised. Usually a sequel just does cut it, even if it is number 5 or 6 of a franchise. It had plenty of action and I was expecting Ford to be slugish at his age but he proved me wrong. I hope the standin stunt man made a bundle. 4.5 because it was a bit too long for my age group

The Runnymede Theatre was already 23 years gone by this picture’s release date, and thank ever-loving fuck it didn’t have to mar its regal elegance with a projection of this walking turd. I didn’t think anything could be worse than Crystal Skull, but I was very wrong. Halfway through my rental of this on Apple TV, I began to feel like I was contributing to elder abuse just watching it. A film devoid of logic. Or anything remotely human. Or life. An embarrassment for all involved.

In 1969, a now ageing Indiana Jones (Harrison Ford) faces up to his estranged goddaughter (Phoebe Waller-Bridge) who seems to work both with him and against him as they seek an artefact that can apparently alter time.
