Not normally a rom/com guy but this was really good. Base guy-gets-girl, girl-gets-guy theme was there but very interesting approach. Matthew McConaugh and Kate Hudson are great – their synergy makes the movie. What is a pretty funny, cute movie for the first half, gets really good from the family scene on. The standard feel-good ending comes from a different, intriguing angle, with a nice bit at the close. Definitely fun, touching and worth the watch.

Je me suis régalé ! J’ai aimé beaucoup de choses dans ce film, et je vais vous les présenter sans plus attendre. D’une part, j’ai beaucoup apprécié la qualité de l’image. What an absolute treat! I don’t even know where to begin! The setup, script and dialogue, the performances, the edit; this is just great! I never imaged being so satisfied with a rom-com style movie. I found myself delighted through the whole watch, and even highly prasing the way the very last act of the film was shot. Definely should be a must-watch-once, for everyone!
