Personally, i would have simply not climbed to the top of the 2,000 foot tower with a sign that says “NO TRESPASSING DANGER OF DEATH” without alerting anyone to where i was. That’s just me tho

At the end, her dad smiles and says “Let’s get you home” and they walk toward his car, as if she wouldn’t already be at the hospital for her incredibly infected leg and severe sunburns, and then in police custody for breaking a dozen state and federal laws and also probably a murder investigation.

Watches husband fall to his death. Spends the next year traumatized. Is convinced by her friend to climb 2000ft TV tower to process her trauma. Watches said friend fall to her death. Re-traumatized. The thing that still annoys me the most about this film isn’t the cliche survival thriller ‘this sounds stupid, let’s do it.’ It’s the ’51 weeks later’ tagline at the beginning of the film. Why 51 weeks?! Why not ‘1 year later’?!

Bad acting and terrible writing. I genuinely hate Hunter so much. I mean her behavior is like… sociopathically manipulative. Still, this is some how more than the some of its parts.

O filme estava passando na TV e resolvi prestar atenção, já que tinha visto algumas pessoas na internet falando que era bom. Mas, particularmente, não gostei. Não sei se foi por causa da dublagem, mas achei a atuação bem fraca. E, para mim, não fez muito sentido: ela perdeu o marido fazendo algo radical e decidiu fazer justamente algo radical para superar. Talvez a grande lição do filme seja sobre enfrentar nossos medos e superar nossos traumas, mas, para mim, continua não fazendo muito sentido. E talvez eu já soubesse qual era o plot twist kkkkk, então não fiquei surpresa.

- Synopsis
- For best friends Becky and Hunter, life is all about conquering fears and pushing limits.
