friendly reminder that i hate the devil. holy shit, that kids teeth were the funniest thing ever, i could not stop laughing. jack black plays himself, who’s surprised? why the hell was he making pedophile jokes to this 11 year old boy. and yet again, why has he got this little boy alone in his hotel room. how do you have three wishes and don’t wish for your dead brother back.

It’s a weird mess of a Christmas movie starring Jack Black as Satan👹🎅🏻. Of course I dug it🎁. That 3rd act was a CHOICE🔥. People are gonna hate this😂

Spoiler alert! But I feel this movie sends a very poor message about trauma and healing. First off it’s dropped like a bomb that a brother died in an accident and that’s why the parents are arguing and there’s a divide with parenting roles. But then at the very end the parents make amends and start the healing process and are all happy again. Turns out it’s cause satan brought the brother back to life and the tragedy actually never happened so the movie could make a dumb joke. To me at least, this is in very poor taste because it tells the audience the only way a broken family can fix what’s broken and be brought back together after a horrific tragedy is for the tragedy to have actually never happened. Maybe that’s just me but I think that ruined the whole movie for me.

Dear Santa is a film that should have heeded Don Henleys advice and stopped riding fences for so long. It needed to pick a lane and stick to it. Instead, it wants to appeal to the Rated R crowd and the PG crowd, and because of that, I fear it may appeal to neither. It’s not raunchy enough or hilarious and lacks any sentimentality or heart warming messages. It’s just a movie that exists and one that will probably be forgotten on streaming in a week or so if not sooner.

This is my least favourite “movie” of all time, genuinely the worst of one of the worst types of movies, that being generic annual holiday movies, with some of the least funny “jokes” ever. The one moment I exhaled ,without complete pure misery, was a scene when Jack Black is dancing in a skin tight latex outfit. Awful awful awful awful awful awful awful awful. DO NOT WATCH UNLESS YOU WANT ONE LESS REASON TO LIVE.

A kid’s treat at best… Nothing special, typical Christmas kids movie… What happened to our glorious Christmas day films man… They don’t make movies like home alone anymore… Forced comedy…tries to be unhinged but at best gets a chuckle the whole movie… I felt so cringed at times… I didn’t want to finish it… But jack Black is sole reason I watched the movie tbh… Lazy writing…lazy dialogues.. Jack black saved my life. I went into this movie expecting the worse, it was endearing at times. Mainly due to how bad it was, but Jack black and the child had decent comedic chemistry. Along with the plot being good, tho basic.
