    For a film names cocaine bear they have tried awfully hard give it a plot. I wasn’t asking for a plot, I wanted a bear on cocaine and when they gave me that I did enjoy it a bit. Cgi was awful tho.

    Cocaine Bear is exactly what the title promises, and somehow still manages to exceed expectations. It’s a gloriously stupid, bloody, hilarious ride where a bear discovers the one thing nature forgot to give it: an appetite for cocaine. Zero dignity, maximum chaos, and I loved every batshit minute of it.

    The movie lives up to its name, the bear did indeed do alot of coccaine. (I can’t blame her, it looked delicious. 😛) And in my professional opinion, this movie was the best kind of bad; I approve. ⬜️🐻❤️

    Better than a movie with that title and premise should be. But there are definitely too many characters, it makes it feel unfocused. Still the best Grizzly movie. Quote of the Movie: “I left a dog in the car” “You left a dog in the car?” “You left my son in St. Louis”

    Not to relitigate how to feel about a horror comdey from three years ago but pretty good time to be had when you ask three greats (Whitlock, Liotta, and Martindale) to make goofs punch above their weight and save the climax being lit like dogshit and CG bear, I mostly dug the viscera. Was not annoyed by it and that’s ultimately enough???

    Cocaine Bear is exactly the kind of beautiful, brain-damaged cinema the world occasionally needs. A dark-comedy rampage where nature, stupidity, and a truly unreasonable amount of cocaine collide in the Georgia woods. The characters are gloriously oddball and surprisingly lovable, the banter keeps the madness bouncing, and the direction wisely embraces the lunacy instead of trying to tame it. It’s violent, ridiculous, stylish in its own deranged way, and completely committed to the bit. A movie about a bear on cocaine shouldn’t work this well, but hell, neither should half the things we do after midnight.

    A gleefully over-the-top movie, just as the title suggests. It’s a classic horror comedy in which people drop dead one after another like characters in a comic or video game. I expected some drug-specific twists or humor, but the bear’s symptoms basically boil down to three things—aggression, drug dependence, and heightened alertness—which was a bit underwhelming.
