When I was a kid, I cried at the scene where his dad dies. This time, I cried when Adam Sandler paused time to fart in someone’s face.

This dumb film means so much to me, and I will always defend it. I used to make my dad watch it every week as a kid, but he’d only let me if we watched Gladiator or Spartacus right after. There was nothing like going from an emotionally resonant, cheesy Sandler comedy to a big-budget, grand Hollywood epic on a school night.

the premise is that capitalism makes balancing work and home life impossible and that to get ahead, you have to put your brain on auto-pilot and neglect your own happiness, damn basically it’s a wonderful life 2 once the initial happy madison production type antics stop

Why does this movie get so deep and dark near the end? There should never ever be a scene where an old, dying Adam Sandler chases his family down in the rain and tells them with his last breath, “family is the most important thing” while the grim reaper looks on. YET HERE IT IS! What makes the dark turn even weirder is that the first hour or so is just dick and fart jokes!! And who the fuck would use a magic remote control to fast forward having sex with Kate Beckinsale? What the fuck kind of movie is this?!

I’m sure we all have events we wish we could skip over, but I feel like the main character in this movie took that a little too far. Skipping over essential conversations and intimate moments because they’re not interesting enough is always bound to backfire. Pretty sure this did make me cry though with how it all played out. Did it have typical Adam Sandler funny moments? Sure. But it’s also heartbreaking.

Never skip an Adam Sandler movie. It’s a god awful film but you learn something from it. You don’t giggle, you laugh! But at the end of the day thank the heavens I didn’t pay to watch it.

if Nolan is known for his not quite there logic yet blockbuster inventiveness, Lucas for his bad dialogue yet boundary pushing space opera fantasies, then Sanders should be known for his outdated humor yet nailing the suburbish morality lessons like no other a modern retelling of Its a Wonderful Life imbued with affecting earnestness, grand thespian sets, a mature warning of watching your little habits, & a memorable concept yet still mixed with Sander’s typical flaws of gross, mostly non-hitting, often…

This film sexualises his daughter, dogs, native Americans and is fatphobic and a little transphobic… but it still made me tear up

Click! That’s an experimental film, no? – Jean-Marie Straub Of course the dweeb they clown on the whole film is a Mets fan. I would simply get my money up without fumbling Kate Beckinsale. Seen at Roxy Cinema in New York City in 35mm

I believe that everyone deserves to defend their life to live the way that they want to live. T.G.I.Fridays. Michael Jackson molesting himself. Frank Tashlin. Fighting with your wife. Getting fat. The Office slut. Making children cry. Putting your penis in your dad’s mouth. The Strokes. A Matter of Life or Death. Geese covering New Radicals was a huge moment for me.

Apenas a aproveite a vida.
-
࣪

When i was watched this as a kid it was hilarious. When i grew up and watched it again, it was still hilarious; but the diffrence is at the second i was drowning in my own tears when the movie ended.

O final é lindo, cheguei até a me emocionar.

Some chud ass 2000s humor in this one, I lowkey would’ve given this 3.5-4 stars if just died at the end and that was it, but no the 2000s Adam Sandler movie has to have a happy ending A modern It’s A Wonderful Life but better because Hideki Matsui appears for one second

this is the worst movie i have ever seen and i only saw 41 minutes of it and im never going to get those 41 minutes back of my life i would genuinely prefer to spend time sat in an in-use urinal than watching that again this isn’t animal planet. why was i subjected to a quasi-pornographic depiction of a mans desires?

Adam Sandler’s face just annoys me, in all roles except for Uncut Gems because that’s precisely the point of that movie. The woman on the cover banner of this movie is his wife and he was doing all that with the stupid remote. The ending brought it back a bit for me but watching this was so frustrating that I literally didn’t care about the ’emotional’ moments or the fact that he got a 2nd chance.

“one day it just clicks. you realize what’s important and what isn’t. you learn to care less about what other people think of you and more about what you think of yourself. you realize how far you’ve come and you remember when you thought things were such a mess that you would never recover.” you all are actually haters this film is so cute and definitely worth a watch omg
-

Exactly what you’d expect from an Adam Sandler movie. Fart jokes and a heartwarming resolution at the end. Sandler is the definition of “if it’s not broke don’t fix it”.
-

Click (2006) looks like a silly Adam Sandler comedy on the surface, but underneath all the cheap laughs and ridiculous universal remotes, there’s something surprisingly dark hiding inside it: the terrifying idea that life can pass you by while you’re too busy trying to control it. Watching it now feels different from when I first saw it. Maybe because getting older changes the way you look at time. When you’re young, a year feels like an eternity. You think you…
- Synopsis
- A married workaholic, Michael Newman doesn't have time for his wife and children, not if he's to impress his ungrateful boss and earn a well-deserved promotion.
