-
R
Jason Bateman absolutely carries this film as the villain. His vocal patterns and poise with his diction is truly menacing. Otherwise it’s a fairly stock-standard airport terrorist romp (Die Hard is still the gold standard in that genre and this is not that).
-
T

Is this technically considered as a Christmas movie? Really had me engaged throughout the whole movie. Just a lot of fun to watch! Crazy how Jason Bateman can be so good in all sorts of genres.

favorite part was how the LAPD did nothing out of all the screentime they had also TSA isnt depicted accurately they make the regular citizens have the reputation a TSA man does (even though the people ofc can be bad sometimes)

Very good movie. I feel like they couldn’t afford Megan fox so they cast someone that looks exactly like her. The movie had no logic at all but still fun to watch

Apart from the fact I LOVE Jason Bateman, this film had no redeeming qualities.

It was good but it seemed like it would get better but it was good more than good towards the end but overall just good
-
O
At the beginning of the movie „Oh so sad he couldnt get into the police academy“ Halfway through the movie „Ahh I get why he didnt get into the academy.. this guy‘s dumb as fuck“ The amount of times all these characters had the perfect opportunity to just shut Bateman‘s plan down completely and they chose the worst option is astounding

This movie is good actually, randomly put it on Netflix impulsively without realizing it was a Christmas movie. But it was very entertaining and a proper thriller. It doesn’t pull its punches and has a pretty surprising amount of violence and death including objectively innocent people. However it gives the movie real weight and makes it feel more plausible. This premise is great too, I’m surprised there aren’t more airport/ tsa movies. Acting is great too, the lead guy and girl are really great and so is Bateman as the bad guy.

I have further decided to add one star to this movie because I can’t stop watching it due to Jason Bateman being so fine

This was like…fine lol maybe I just wasn’t in the mood for it. I really just wanted to see evil Jason Bateman dressed in all black. And that’s really what the three stars are for.

A neat little action spy thriller! Super interesting plot and shit. Kind of reminded me of death note with how many plays each person made and trying to outwit eachother. Really a smart movie film. But I have to bring up the fact that there was gonna be a terrorist attack in an AIRPLANE??? I had to completely suspend my disbelief. That is so UNREALISTIC. SECURITY IS SO FREAKING TIGHT. Dont remember why tho. Anywho I give the comedy a 9/11.

i highly encourage everyone to push back on the little voice in your head that would urge you to believe this isn’t a movie to watch on a plane. bc it actually is randomly the type of movie you can only watch on a plane due to confined seating/seat belt/desperation for entertainment

Jason as an evil enforcer didn’t know it could be done but he killed it. The back n forth mind games was shot perfectly. Kept the suspense going which kept you intrigued even without action and when they did have action it was done pretty well. A man willing to risk everything but also nothing? Taron edgerton great actor shows the trials of conflict amazingly in this movie

Taron Egerton me…
